Let's Run Park (Jeju Racecourse)
Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , TheWestern Part of the Jeju Island

Jeju Racecourse is situated at the base of Mt. Hallasan, 450 m above sea level, with a great view of Baekrokdam and the ocean. It was first set up to protect the Jeju Horse (Natural Monument #347) in 1990. It is open around the year to provide space for excursions, picnic parties and exercises.Its main facilities are the racetrack made of sand which is 1,600m in length and 20m in x_width, examination hall where you can see the conditions of the horses before the race, spectators’ floors from 3rd basement floor to the ground floor, holding 3000 persons per floor, 100 monitors, 100 ticket desks, information desks and a free parking lot which can hold 2000 cars.From July to August, races are held between 4:25 PM~9:20 PM. In the vicinity is the Eoksae Flower Garden which is so beautiful that it is the subject of the “Jeju Eoksae Flower Festival”

Statue of Soyanggang Maid
Gangwon-do(Chuncheon-si)

The bronze statue of the Soyanggang Maid, which was dedicated by the City of Chuncheon in 2005 to promote the beloved Korean song of "Soyanggang Cheonyeo" (Soyanggang Maid) and the Soyanggang River, is a large statue standing 7 meters tall. The modern statue strikes a balance with the Soyanggang River and its surrounding scenery. The statue is located at the intersection of Soyanghoban in the direction of Gongjicheon.

Honinji Pond

Honinji is home to a myth that agriculture and farming started on Jeju Island when the Samsinin (three founding demi-gods) who lived in Jeju married the Samgongju (three princesses) and started raising cattle and ponies and planted the seeds of five grains. There is a pond here called Honinji Pond (pond of marriage) where, according to the legend, the wedding ceremony was held and three caves which served as bridal rooms. Together with Samseonghyeol (three large holes on the ground where the three demigods emerged from), Honinji is a great place for tracing the origin of the founders of Jeju Island. In the summer, the area is in full bloom with red lotus flowers.

Yangyang International Airport

Yangyang International Airport, located in Dongho-ri, Sonyang-myeon, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do, is the only international airport in the Yeongdong region. The airport excellently serves as the arrival point for tourists to Korea’s representative attractions of Gangwon, Seoraksan Mountain and Donghae. The airport is equipped with a control tower, and the Korean Peninsula Energy Development Organization (KEDO) is planning on building a North-South direction passage, connecting Yangyang International Airport with Seondeok Airport in the Hamgyeongnam-do region of North Korea in accordance with the North-South Passage Protocol of 1997.
