The Water Gun Fight Festival was started as a fun way to ward off the summer heat. Young, old, male or female, anyone can join in. With a single water gun, visitors can enjoy a variety of entertainments including a parade and music concert at the festival. Initiated as a social festival through Facebook in 2013, the festival offers all kinds of fun with water guns at Sinchon, the heart of youth and hip culture.

The Traditional Korean Food Experience Center is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and developing Korean food culture by offering a number of experience programs on traditional Korean food. Visitors can also lodge at a hanok (traditional Korean house) for a little bit of lifestyle experience. Located in Gokseong-gun, Jeonnam, Rail Pension has recently been renovated. Visitors can see Gokseong tourist spots at a glance and the beautiful scenery during all four seasons. The pension also has an outdoor terrace for viewing the scenery of Seomjingang train village complex. Each room has a unique name, and the light-colored wooden interior and use of Phytoncide is great at relieving stress.


Gangwon-do(Chuncheon-si)

Known as one of Korea’s leading short story novelists, Kim Yu-jeong (1908~1937) was born in Sille Village in Sindong-myeong, Chuncheon. A restoration of his birth house, the Kim Yu-jeong House of Literature is part of an effort to turn the whole village into a literature village, commemorating the novelist. The house has an exhibition hall, a walking path, and a hiking trail.Kim Yu-jeong spent a great deal of his life in Seoul and returned to his hometown in 1931 at the age of 23. He published his first novel 'Sangol Nageune (The Wanderer)' followed by numerous rural-based novels such as 'Dongbaekkkot (The Camellias)' and 'Bom bom (Spring)'.Inside the exhibition hall, his birth home and even a treadmill are reproduced in their original form. A variety of programs reproducing his works are on display.

Gyeonggi-do(Pocheon-si) , Pocheon

Pocheon Art Valley is established in what used to be a granite quarry. The quarry became the site of the nation’s first shared culture and art complex in 2009. The valley has had over 1,000,000 visitors by 2014. Various programs such as a planned exhibition, weekend performance, planned performance and others are prepared for visitors. Also, Pocheon Art Valley Astronomical Science Museum officially opened on August 1, 2014 as a spot for space science, comprised of an exhibition hall for space, cutting-edge 4D video room, and astronomical observation room that offers constellation reading.


Incheon(Seo-gu) , Incheon Center

Since opening on October 25, 2002, the Nokcheongja Museum has been running ceramic classes for visitors and offering academic data about the Green Celadon Kiln Site in Incheon (Historic Site No. 211). The excavation work for the Green Celadon Kiln Site in Incheon was conducted on four separate occasions from December 1965 to May 1966 by joint research teams of the National Museum of Korea and Incheon Metropolitan City Museum. The celadon fired in this kiln has a dark green or brownish green glaze with an uneven surface. The Green Celadon Kiln Site was the first cultural property in this area to be designated as a Historic Site (designated on May 1970).
