Seoul(Jung-gu)

Gangwon-do(Chuncheon-si)

Located just outside of Seoul, Samaksan Mountain and Deungseon Fall is the perfect destination for weekend outings for those in the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas. The most popular hiking course on the mountain (appropriate even for beginners) starts from one waterfall (which is fairly small with a x_height of 10m) and passes two other waterfalls, and Seonnyeotang. The course runs all the way to the top of Samaksan (654m above sea level). The mountain has several steep valleys and unique rock formations covered with thick forests. Looking down from the top, a stunning panoramic view of Uiamho Lake and Bukhangang River (and its many small islands) unfolds below.


Daejeon(Dong-gu)

Daedong Sky Park was formed during the Rainbow Project on December 2009. Windmill, which represents the park, is located 127 meters above sea level. Visitors can see an amazing panoramic view of the city as well as relax in one of many benches and pagodas. Mural Village connected to the Sky Park offers themed coffee shops becoming a popular attraction.


Jeollabuk-do(Buan-gun)

Buan Cine Theme Park is a large film production complex in Gyeokpo-ri, Byeonsan-myeon, Buan-gun measuring a total of 148,400 square meters in area. The park is comprised of a two main sections: a folk village (89,696 m²) and an indoor studio called Sunset Village (58,704m²). Inside the folk village, Korea’s representative royal palace (Gyeongbokgung Palace) has been recreated along with traditional houses of the noble class, village schools, traditional streets, a pond, a fortress, and more. The park became famous after serving as the main filming location for popular Korean movies “The King and The Clown” (2005), “Hwang Jin-yi” (2007), and “The Sword With No Name” (2009).


Gyeongsangnam-do(Changwon-si)

The restaurant has been specializing in samgyetang (steamed chicken with rice and ginseng stuffing) since 1982. It’s inside a traditional Korean house with a well-landscaped garden in a cozy atmosphere.


Gyeonggi-do(Anyang-si)

Anyang Water Land (안양워터랜드), using pristine waters from the deep valleys of Gwanaksan and Samseongsan Mountains, is a composite theme park open in all four seasons with state-of-the-art pools, water-slides, facilities, and services.

Ulsan Grand Park Rose Festival has been held since 2005 and will have on exhibit about 3 million roses in a rose garden (44,737㎡). In particular, premium rose species are widely planted. The festival offers various beauty of rose with diverse views like from Cupid Garden, Venus Garden, Rose Hills or themed garden. Upon entering the rose garden, visitors can see animals like 23 types with 1,333 birds and 17 types with 122 animals including monkeys and meerkats.


Jeollabuk-do(Jangsu-gun)

Uiamsa Shrine was built to the memory of Chu Nongae, who sacrificed her life during the Imjin War (Japanese Invasion of Korea). In 1846, the Nongae-saeng-jang-hyang-su-myeong-bi monument was put up in praise of Nongae’s patriotism. In 1955, a shrine was built and named Uiamsa, which was then moved to the current location in 1974. Within the precincts of the shrine are a memorial stone, the portrait of Nongae by artist Kim Eun-ho, and the three gates Woesammun, Naesammun and Chunguimun erected one after another. At the memorial hall, the existing possessions of Nongae and her husband General Choi Gyeong-hoe are on display. The annual Nongae Festival takes places on September 3rd by the lunar calendar, during which memorial services and cultural events are held to commemorate Nongae.


Gyeonggi-do(Goyang-si) , Ilsan

Flow House Seoul is the only flowboarding location in Korea, allowing the full experience of surfing indoors. Boards are available to use for free, and wetsuits are available for rental. Flowboarding is attractive to beginning surfers and pros alike. Beginners can learn surfing from instructors without needing to travel to the ocean through the use of man-made, controlled waves.
