Jeollabuk-do(Gimje-si)

Since 2008, Gimje-si has hosted the Gimje Moaksan Festival, famous for its cherry blossoms. During the festival, the mountain is packed with visitors from the province and urban areas to enjoy the cherry blossoms. The districts of Geumpyeong Reservoir and Cheongdo-ri gil Road nearby make for a great drive to see all the cherry blossoms, and a reason that brings visitors back again year after year. Moaksan Mountain, with its thousand years of Silla Dynasty, is located in Geumsan-myeon of Gimje. Geumsansa, Gwisinsa, Suwangsa, and Daewonsa Temples are enveloped by Moaksan Mountain. Standing tall in the eastern part, it allows you overlook the Honam plains at a glance. It is also noted for its scenic beauty as well as lots of cultural properties, including national treasures. It even topped the list of the four best natural scenic views in the Honam region. Geumsansa Temple was established in the Baekje period (599 AD) featuring over ten designated cultural properties, including Mireukjeon, the country’s only three-storey building. In spring, the temple is thronging with tourists coming to see the beautiful cherry blossom trees in full bloom along the Bangdeunggyedan stairs that enshrines Sari, a cremated remain of Buddha.


Chungcheongnam-do(Asan-si)

Dogo oncheon Station opened in June 15, 1922 as Seonjang Station and was relocated to its current location in 2007.


Gangwon-do(Wonju-si)

Ganhyeon Resort is located where Seomgang River and Samsancheon River meet. The resort offers an amazing view, with the riverfront surrounded by white sand, oddly shaped rocks and lush forests with a 40 to 50-m high wall of rock formations along both sides of the river. The natural beauty of the area was also praised in the lyrical prose "Gwandong Byeolgok" by Songang Jeongcheol.


Chungcheongbuk-do(Cheongju-si)

Munui Cultural Properties Site offers overlooks of Daecheongho Lake. Attracting many visitors, the place was created to preserve and promote the local traditional culture of Cheongwon (Chungcheongbuk-do); it is a great place to learn about local history, culture, and arts.The spacious complex (132,232m2) is home to ten traditional houses (Munsangwan, houses by aristocrats, a museum, and a tavern), showing a form of a traditional village. It is also full of dolmens, stones (symbolizing abundant procreation), Jangseung (totem poles at the entrance of villages or temples), and Yeonjabanga (millstones worked by horses or oxen), providing visitors with opportunities to learn about traditional culture and life.With the theme of roof tiles, a relics gallery in the complex boasts over 774 local items, categorized in each historical period (e.g. the Silla Period, Baekje Period, etc.). Munsan-ri Stone Bridge, believed to have been built during the Goryeo Period, was restored in front of the gallery.The complex also offers a wide array of amenities including mineral spring sites, playgrounds, and Munui Movie Village (a drive-in movie theater in the parking lot). Nearby notable attractions include Artificial Falls, Yangseongsan Mountain, Jakdusan Mountain, Daecheongho Lake, Nosan Pine Forest, Donghwasa Temple, and Bugang Mineral Springs. 


Chungcheongbuk-do(Danyang-gun)

Gudambong Peak and Oksunbong Peak (alt. 372m) are widely known as two of the “Eight Scenic Views of Danyang." Gudanmbong Peak (lit. Turtle Pond Peak) gets its name from the reflection of its rugged cliffs on the lake below, which is said to look like a turtle. Oksunbong Peak (lit. Jade Shoot Peak), well known for its magnificent scenery, was so named because its white and mossy rocks stand high like fresh bamboo shoots. The old historic book Yeojiseungnam (Geographical Survey of Korea) describes how Kim Il-son, a civil officer in the Joseon Dynasty, greatly extolled the beauty of its marvelous ravines. Both Gudambong Peak and Oksunbong Peak offer spectacular views of Chungjuho Lake and Geumsusan Mountain.


Chungcheongnam-do()

Wondumak is a Korean restaurant specializing in hot soups. Popular menu items include minmul saeutang (spicy fresh water shrimp soup), megi maeuntang (spicy catfish soup), and tojong dakdoritang (chicken hot pot). The restaurant also offers fantastic views of the Gobok Reservoir.


Gyeonggi-do(Gapyeong-gun)

Cheongpyeong Recreational Forest (청평자연휴양림) boasts a pristine natural landscape that overlooks Cheongpyeongho Lake in Bukhangang River. Jeollabuk-do(Jeonju-si)

Jeonju Station opened in Seonosong-dong, Jeonju-si on November 17, 1914. Jeonju Station moved to its current location in Ua-dong, Jeonju-si, on March 23, 1978, when a section of the Jeolla railway line connecting Buk-Jeonju (North Jeonju) and Sin-ri was moved to the outskirts of the city. The station building was newly-constructed at that time. Jeonju Station has grown to accommodate an average 6,000 passengers per day and is quickly becoming a hub of administration, education, culture, and transportation.


Gyeonggi-do(Icheon-si)
