Chungcheongnam-do(Asan-si)

Onyangoncheon Station opened on June 1, 1922 as a regular railway station. The station building was relocated on June 23, 1983. On January 1, 2005, it was converted into a metro station. On September 2, 2008, the double tracked railway extension from Cheonan Station to Sinchang Station started operation.The Seoul Metropolitan Subway extended Line 1 to service the Cheonan-Sinchang extension on December 15, 2008. Onyangoncheon Station started to serve the Nuriro Trains on June 1, 2009.

Chungcheongnam-do(Buyeo-gun)

Muryangsa Temple, located at the foot of Mansusan Mountain in Buyeo-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, is said to have been built during the reign of Silla’s King Munmu by national preceptor Beomilguksa.Geungnakjeon Hall, Treasure No. 356, can be seen after passing through Sacheonwangmun Gate, recognizably the best location for taking in the beauty of Muryangsa Temple. The temple grounds hold the Two-story Geungnakjeon Hall, Five-story Stone Pagoda (Treasure No. 185), and Stone Lantern (Treasure No. 233), all in a row. Terracotta Seated Amitabha Triad at Muryang Temple in Buyeo, Treasure No. 1565, also shows off its dignity.The temple is also famous for being the place where Kim Siseup, one of the Saengyuksin (Six Loyal Subjects of the Joseon Dynasty), spent his last few days before death. Visitors can see his portrait inside the temple. Although the temple site is included in Buyeo-gun’s administrative district, it is located closer to downtown Boryeong.

Chungcheongnam-do(Boryeong-si)

At 790 meters, Oseosan Mountain in Boryeong is one of the highest peaks on Korea’s west coast. Near the meeting point of three localities—Boryeong, Hongseong, and Cheongyang—the mountain is known for its natural beauty boasting a lush forest and pristine waters.From the top of Oseosan, visitors can see waves of silver grass and fantastic sunsets over the West Coast. Gangwon-do(Gangneung-si)

Jumunjin Port, one of the main fishing ports on the east coast, is home to over 350 fishing boats. The East Sea, where the warm and cold waters meet, is excellent for catching a lot of different types of fish including squid, lance fish, pollack, herring and anchovy.
