High1 Resort

Named to reflect the concept “first and foremost,” High1 is a multi-cultural leisure resort consisting of High1 Resort, Gangwon Land Convention Hotel, Gangwon Land Casino, Gangwon Land Hotel, High1 Ski, High1 C.C, High1 Hotel, Valley Condominium, and Mountain Condominium. The ski resort, one of the most popular parts of the High1 complex, offers a 4.2-kilometer-long slope for beginners that runs from the summit of Mount Jijangsan (alt. 1,345m). The ski resort has a total of 18 slopes, 3 gondolas, and 7 lifts. The two hotels and three condominiums at High1 house a total of 1,577 rooms. Housed in an old hanok (traditional Korean house) Sukyoung Sikdang (숙영식당) is a restaurant famous for its glutinous barley rice meal. Various kinds of grains are mixed with glutinous barley rice to make a sticky and savory rice dish complete with seven different kinds of wild greens. Amethyst Cavern Park
Gyeongsangnam-do(Namhae-gun)

The Amethyst Cavern Park is the largest man-made cave tourist attraction in Korea. It is made inside a closed amethyst mine. Connected like a labyrinth, the cave is 2.5 kilometers long and about 16,529 square meters wide. The average temperature is between 12 and 14 degrees Celsius year round. Visitors can observe amethyst stones, see exhibitions, and attend a circus performance full of thrills. Outside the cave, visitors can enjoy a snow sleigh during winter, play facilities, ceramic workshop for youths and children, and hands-on learning experiences using sweet potatoes, peanuts, corn, and herbs.

Bomunsa Temple
Incheon(Ganghwa-gun) , Ganghwado Island

Bomunsa Temple is located at Seokmodo Island, which is the west of Ganghwado Island. It is said that the temple was constructed by Queen Seondeok during the Silla Era (635).  Entering the temple, you will see a 600-year-old Chinese juniper tree. Behind the tree is Seokgulamja, a small Buddhist temple in a natural cave. The entrance of the grotto is small, but the room inside is large. There is a huge millstone that the monks used for cooking beside Seokgulamja. It Is designated as Cultural Monument. If you go back side of the temple, you can see the must-see attractions here; the *Ma-aeseokbuljwasang and the Nunseop (implies eyebrow in Korean) Rock. The 10m high Ma-aeseokbuljwasang is engraved on the rock that looks like an eyebrow. The view of West Sea from Bomunsa Temple is beautiful.  The West Sea and sandy beaches of Seokmodo Island in which Bomunsa Temple is situated were featured in many films.
