Last May, fans made a small forest within Seoul called “Daniel Forest” where fans can sit around, share stories, and rest whenever they miss Kang Daniel or want to cheer him on. This is a space set up on the outer terrace of café Picky Papa. Each tree and flower have been planted by fans, and the fans voluntarily take care of the forest. As a space filled with photos of Kang Daniel, cards with encouraging messages, and fan pics, the forest offers the enjoyment of seeing how the decorations change with every visit.

Baekje Cultural Festival first started in 1955 to commemorate the three loyal subjects of the Baekje era, namely Seongchung, Heungsu, and Gyebaek through a Samchungje rite. The lonely souls drifting throughout Baekje’s land are also comforted through a separate ritual ceremony, known as the Suryukje rite.Also, Samchungsa Temple was established in 1965 and the scale of the festival became bigger in 1965, hosted by the province. Its name was changed to Baekje Cultural Festival since then.

The term ‘Byeolmaro’ combines the words ‘byeol’ (star), ‘ma’ (peak) and ‘ro’ (peaceful). Together, they collectively represent the wish to view stars in a clean and peaceful environment.The observatory has a total of 11 telescopes, including the nation’s largest telescope with a diameter of 80 centimeters and 10 supplementary telescopes. Located in a mountainous region in the inland of Gangwon-do, Yeongwol has a clean natural environment free from pollution.
