Jeollabuk-do(Iksan-si)

The Jewel Palace is a jewelry exhibition and sales center in Iksan built as part of the city’s jewelry industry cluster project to promote its jewelry industry. The building has 84 jewelry shops on the first and second floors with unique jewelry items on exhibit and on sale. The second floor has a wide luxury space featuring global luxury brands like Ferragamo, Gucci, and Fendi.


Seoul(Gangnam-gu) , Gangnam・Samseongdong(COEX)

Once In A Blue Moon is a jazz club offering live performances by top jazz musicians, a wide range of menus, and over 130 types of wine. Frequented by world-renown musicians, the club is also a popular shooting location for films, TV shows, and commercials.


Gyeonggi-do(Suwon-si) , suwon

In honor of the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan, Suwon adopted the idea of ‘restrooms with culture’- building beautiful, clean, brand new bathrooms at main tourist sites around the city. The Firefly Restroom, located near the Gwanggyo Reservoir, is the most beautiful of them all. It features a tunnel for the handicapped, a ceiling which filters light, a simple interior, a coffee vending machine, and a rest area.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Goryeong-gun)

Daegaya History Theme Park is located in what was the center of the Daegaya Kingdom. The park offers various areas to learn about not only the history of the area, but also the current culture and the future of Goryeong. In particular, visitors can enjoy various items produced during the Daegaya era such as pottery, ironworks, and the gayageum, as well as visit at 4D theater and walk along the forest exploration trail.


Busan(Saha-gu)

An excellent place to see exhibitions and learn about and experience ecology, the Nakdong Estuary Eco-Center is located in Saha-gu, Busan. The center consists of three floors with the first floor home to an information office, a maintenance office, an educational room, and a volunteers’ room. The second floor is home to exhibition rooms, an experience zone, a small library, and an observatory. Audio-visual rooms are located on the third floor. The center runs a variety of experience programs so that visitors may explore the estuary, observe plants and insects, walk around tidal flats and reed beds, and make wooden sculptures. In addition, visitors can observe birds and compare the eggs and beaks of various birds. The center is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is closed on Mondays and New Year’s Day. The Nakdong Estuary Eco-Center, in turn is full of excellent amenities: picnic grounds, a botanical garden, a hiking trail, an observatory, abundant resting spots, an outdoor learning center, and lush trees.  


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Sangju-si)

The Sangju Bicycle Museum has a large collection of bicycles of all types and sizes, and from all over the world. On the first floor, bicycles are arranged in the order of production year and model. On the second floor, a special exhibition is set up to show the history of bicycles in Korea. Finally, the museum runs a free bicycle rental in the yard outside the main building.    


Seoul(Jongno-gu) , Seoul City Hall・Gwanghwamun

Hangeul Festival is coming soon in celebration of 570th year anniversary of Hangeul (Korean alphabet), prepared by Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. This event will be held at Gwanghwamun Plaza, offering entertainment to citizens, specialists, and international visitors. Hangeul Festival is a cultural event everyone can enjoy, aiming to promote and share the cultural values of Hangeul to everyone.


Gangwon-do(Gangneung-si)

Approximately 6km northward from downtown Gangneung, Gyeongpo Provincial Park is surrounded by a slew of both natural and cultural attractions (Gyeongpodae, Gyeongpo Lake, and Gyeongpo Beach). Gyeongpo Lake, in particular, is home to precious species such as swans and mallards. Known as one of the most scenic locations in Gangwon-do for a long time, Gyeongpodae is a fascinating spot to enjoy the first full moon of the year; the serene Gyeongpo Lake used to attract fishing enthusiasts in droves, but fishing is now prohibited due to natural preservation purposes. Within the park are Gyeongpo Beach (one of the cleanest beaches on the East Coast), elegant Gyeongpo Lake, Gyeongpodae, Banghae Pavilion, Hohae Pavilion, Gyeongho Pavilion, and Gyeongyangsa (Gyeongyang Temple). Visitors can enjoy the attractions all year long with cherry blossoms in the spring, swimming in the summer, fishing, and walking on the beach in the winter. Restaurants near the park offer unique local food such as fresh sashimi (including the famous Squid Sashimi), spicy fish stews, and Chodang Tofu.

Busan(Dongnae-gu)

The Dongnaeeupseong History Festival was selected as Busan's best festival for four consecutive years. The festival was also awarded the grand prize during the 4th K-Festival and is considered an excellent example of teaching history through an experiential festival. The festival features the customs and traditions of Dongnae County, focusing on the noble spirit of patriotism. The festival has a high degree of both educational and entertainment values, making it one of the nation's unique 'edutainment' festivals.
