Gangwon-do(Goseong-gun)

Goseong-gun’s Hwajinpo Aquarium (화진포 해양박물관) is located in the Hwajinpo area of Gangwondo Province and consists of two exhibition rooms with one room featuring a total of 40,000 or 1,500 species shellfish including rare shellfish, crustaceans, coral, fossils and a stuffed specimens; and the other displaying 125 species of 3,000 fish living in fish tanks of varying sizes and shapes designed and equipped in accordance with the characteristics and habitats of each species of fish. There is a 300 ton overhead underwater tunnel on the first floor of the fish exhibition room. The second floor is home to the Ocean Beach and Beautiful East Sea Exhibitions; the Invertebrate Animal Center along with a 3-D Theater that shows films like "Hwajinpo Becomes a Lake", "Ocean Day", and the "Amazing Underwater Trip.


Seoul(Yongsan-gu) , Itaewon・Yongsan

Chungcheongnam-do(Seocheon-gun)

Located in Maryang-ri, Seocheon, Chungnam, Seocheon Beachtel is a seaside motel that boasts beautiful view as it is towering on the high cliff of the West Sea. Jeollanam-do(Gurye-gun)

Located in Omi-ri, Toji-myeon, Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do, the Unjoru Pavilion was designated an Important Folklore Cultural Property on November 25, 1986. It was built in 1776, by Ryu, I-Ju who was high government official of the Sam-su Department, but only 63 of the 78 rooms remained today. The name 'Unjoru' refers to 'the lurking place like a bird in the clouds', which was inspired from an old poem 'GwiGeoraesa (歸去來辭)' written by poet Tao Yuan Ming (陶淵明).

Jeollanam-do(Suncheon-si)

Nagan Folk Recreation Forest is situated in Nakan-myeon, Suncheon, conveniently accessed by trains (two railway lines, Jeolla Line and Gyeongjeon Line) and two highways (Namhae Highway and Honam Highway). Just two kilometers from the historic Nagan Fortress Folk Village, Nagan Folk Recreation Forest boasts exquisite surroundings. Some famous attractions near the forest are Songgwangsa Temple, Seonamsa Temple, Juamho Lake, and Sangsaho Lake, offering opportunities to appreciate ancient temples and the glow of the setting sun over the lakes. Perhaps more famous nearby attractions, though, are the breathtaking rows of reeds at Suncheon Bay and Nagan Fortress Folk Village, the home of cultural festivals and events.Lying on a local highway between Suncheon and Naksan, this forest is surrounded by mountains and a river with a homely garden atmosphere. The two beautiful mountains, Geumjeonsan (667.9m) and Obongsan (591m) snuggly envelop Nagan Folk Recreation Forest. On rainy days, visitors can enjoy spectacular falls of water at Virgin Falls (Cheonyeo Pokpo in Korean) within the forest.Every year, Nagan Fortress Folk Village hosts Nakan Folk Culture Festival (a main festival held in Suncheon from end of April to early May) and Namdo Food Festival (October) while Yeosu, another nearby city, holds Azalea Festival and Turtle Ship Festival (from April to May) and Boseong, Boseong Green Tea Festival and Illimsan Royal Azalea Festival (May). 


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Sangju-si)

Yonghwasa Temple is home to two official national treasures, Seokjoyeoraejwasang (Seated stone Buddha statue; National Treasure No.120) and Seokburipsang (Standing stone Buddha statue; National Treasure No.118). Pieces of broken stone pagodas, lanterns and fountains still remain at the site.


Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , Former Jeju

As the festival takes place at the Haenyeo Museum, visitors will be able to learn all about haenyeo at a glance. Creative stage performances and hands-on activities revolve around the festival's main theme, "Mother's sumbisori, in the hearts of people all over the world." Presentations of traditional and modern day haenyeo are well blended in an effort for the festival to grow and become an internationally celebrated festival.
