Jeollabuk-do(Wanju-gun)

Samrye Culture & Arts Village is an art village also referred to as "Samsamyeyemimi." Once used as a granary and an official residence during the Japanese administration, it has now become a village of art. The village consists of Design Museum, Visual Media Art Gallery, Kim Sang-rym Carpentry Shop (Wood Works), and Book Museum and offers a variety of programs during exhibition events and art festivals.


Gyeongsangnam-do()

The shape of Ulsan Station resembles the image of a crane’s wings, as Ulsan’s historical name was ‘Hakseong’ (‘Hak’ means crane in Korean). The station features a pleasant and comfortable environment for visitors.


Gangwon-do(Hongcheon-gun)

The Hongcheongang River (홍천강) that flows from Hongcheon to Cheongpyeong (청평) in Gangwon Province offers relatively warm and shallow waters, and wide banks, providing an outstanding spot for waterside excursions. The 143-kilometer stretch of the river offers a series of great tourist attractions. There are over ten riverside locales officially developed as vacationing sites, and have campsites for motor homes, including Gulji-ri, Palbongsan Mountain, Bamgol, Bangok, Tonggok, Gaeya, Susan, and Mogok; the most popular among them is the Bambeol Site in Mogok-ri. Seo-myeon, which boasts a one-kilometer riverside beach covered with pebbles and sand. However, the Magok Site, located at the very end of the river, adjacent to Cheongpyeong Lake, is less busy compared to Mogok and is well known among water skiers and jet skiers for its deeper water. If you travel upstream from Mogok, you will find many vacationing sites, one after another, until you reach the beautiful Palbongsan Mountain, endowed with eight peaks. The river is shallow near the Palbong Site and you can try the 2-hour hiking course as well. Bamgol Site is good for those who like to camp in the chestnut woods, while Gulji-ri and Janghang-ri Sites are known for deeper water and are also visited less frequently.  


Gyeongsangnam-do(Geoje-si)

Geojedo Beach Hotel is located in Jangseungpo, Geoje-si, Gyeongnam where the Jangseungpo Harbor is stretched out. Standing on a sea cliff, you can see the complete view of Jangseungpo Harbor and cliffhanging precipice with rocks of fantastic shape unfolded like a screen from your room. Gyeongsangnam-do(Namhae-gun)

Bangudae Cliff is a serene, idyllic region which evidently has been a popular destination for a very long time. For instance, the 285th National Treasure, a prehistoric rock painting, along with other traces of early human life as well as ancestral tablets can be found in the region. Also, many Silla Kingdom artists sought peace of mind and body in Bangudae, as the late Goryeo Dynasty poet Jeong Mongju composed many of his masterpieces here. The name of Bangudae comes from the notion that the mountain slopes and valleys adorned with oddly shaped rocks look like a turtle lying face down.  


Incheon(Jung-gu) , Incheon Airport

SKY72 is the largest golf course in northeast Asia located at Incheon Airport. The size of the golf course is about 69,300 square meters including the Dream Golf Range, the 54-hole Bada Course, and the 18-hole Haneul Course; totaling 72 holes.The Bada Course is a course where you get a full view of the ocean. This lake course has a lake and a marshy area. The Haneul Course offers a rock hill course, which is beautifully decorated by natural cliffs, mountains, and valleys.Each of the courses has its own unique beauty and characteristics, so golf players may choose the environment they desire to play in. The round-shaped 300-box driving range is the world’s largest all-round practice range and was recorded in the Guinness Book of Records in May of 2006.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Miryang-si)

Miryang Summer Performing Arts Festival is held in Miryang-si Youth Training Center, and Songnim Park area centered on Miryang Theater Village. Miryang-si won a special award from the 44th Donga Play Awards in 2008, making this city famous for performing arts. All genre of programs like comic drama, musical, puppet show, live band, dance musical, b-boy dance performance, magic stage, mime performance and other programs are available at the festival.


Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , SinJeju

Tilda House is a European-style pension comprised of pretty buildings with orange roofs and stone walls located in Hangyeong-myeon, Jeju-si, Jeju Island. It is a great place to stay with children as the pension has a kids’ cafe and a sand playground. The view of orange-roofed buildings under the blue sky of Jeju seems unusual and new. There is a total of six guest rooms. There are four rooms for up to three guests (four if you have a child), and one room for three guests (four if you have a child). Rooms T4 and T5 can be joined by opening the connecting doors on both sides. It would be a good place to stay for large families. The room has a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen. In the bedroom, two double beds are placed in parallel, creating enough space for kids as well. The guest room is equipped with a refrigerator, and a washing machine for greater convenience. The room also has kitchen facilities and cooking utensils. The single-family house is large enough for four to five people to stay. It has a living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen. You can enjoy a private barbecue in the front yard. Children can play safely in the indoor kids’ room where there are toys and books, a sand playground, and a grassy field. Because of this, the pension is popular among families with young children. Every morning, breakfast buffet is served in the cafe that only the pension guests can use. The host prepares steamed rice, soup, and fresh side dishes for breakfast. An outdoor barbecue area is available with prior reservation. Places to see near the pension include Jeju Aerospace Museum, Osulloc Tea Museum, Jeju Glass Castle, Spirited Garden, Jungmun Resort. Geumneung Beach and Hyeopjae Beach are 15 minutes away by car.


Jeollanam-do(Suncheon-si)

Created near the Juam Lake of Songgwang-myeon, Goindol Park (고인돌공원) is a relocation site for prehistoric excavations saving them from flooding when construction of the Juam Reservoir (주암저수지, 1984-1991) started. The park covers a land area of 18,000 pyeong. It’s a gathering place for all the dolmens and serves as an educational and leisure area. Some 140 pieces of dolmens are on display, along with prehistoric huts, homes from the Paleolithic age, dolmen models, sotdae (wooden poles) and menhirs, all exhibited outdoors. There is also an exhibition hall that displays the prehistoric relics excavated around the dolmen sites. Another exhibition hall on memorial services has a screening room and shows the evolution of memorial practices in the Jeollanam-do region. The entire area of the park is designated cultural asset material No.154 of Jeollanam-do.


Gangwon-do(Hongcheon-gun)

Hongcheon Ginseng Hanu Myeongpum Festival is held annually in early October in the city of Hongcheon. The natural clean air and water help this area to have excellent quality ginseng and hanu (Korean beef), for which it is famous. Inside the festival venue is a self-serve restaurant for visitors to try Hongcheon hanu, and visitors can also purchase six-year aged ginseng at a discounted price. In addition, Hongcheon Narakkot Mugunghwa Festival is held at the same period, giving tourists the chance to partake in diverse programs. Nearby attractions include Hongcheon Gingko tree forest, opened only for a short time each year in early October and selected as the best area for healing.
