Seoul(Dongdaemun-gu) , Dongdaemun

Located in Jeongnong-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, Cheongnyangni Station runs on the Gyeongwon Line and between Wangsimni Station and Hoegi Station. It is the first and last station of on the Jungang Line.It began operating as a regular station on October 15, 1911 and changed its name to Donggyeongseong Station in 1938. The name was later changed to Cheongnyangni Station in 1942. The station belongs to the Metropolitan Dongbu branch of Korail and it operates the Mugunghwa Line and the Seoul Metropolitan Subway, and also handles ticket sales.

The first floor is for men; the second floor is for women, whereas the third floor is for kids and training wear. The fourth floor displays soccer products, and the fifth floor is a multi-brand shop selling brands other than Nike. Having long specialized in soccer products, the store currently carries not only trainers and soccer balls but also training wear and inner wear, in addition to various sports clothing for running and training. Visitors can reach all stores via the stairs or elevator. Each corner of the stairs displays soccer balls bearing autographs of famous soccer stars and their soccer shoes, and each floor also has images of soccer games, offering things to see to shoppers. In addition, the store provides customers with a rest area equipped with sofas and chairs. It is a large store that makes browsing all items convenient.


Seoul(Seongdong-gu) , The Eastern Part of the Seoul

The Ttukdo Water Purification Plant (Waterworks Museum and Slow Sand Filtration Basin) was completed in August 1908. Construction first commenced in August 1906 as Americans C.H. Collbran and H.R. Bostwick were granted the rights by the Korean Empire to construct the waterworks facility. This was highly significant in that it was the first water purification plant ever built in Korea. At the time of the plants completion, it produced 12,500 tons of purified water to approximately 165,000 Seoul citizens. The Western-style brick mason building had a traditional clay tile roof and was 312.4㎡ in size. The water supply facility (currently renamed Waterworks Museum) and Slow Sand Filtration Basin are designated No.72 Tangible Cultural Asset of Seoul.
