Originally known as Unamjeong Pavilion, the pvailion was built to comemorate Lee Seung-mahn in 1959, was demolished by the 4.19 movement in 1960, and then rebuilt on November 11, 1968.This pavilion now sits atop Namsan Mountain, with views covering the entirity of Seoul below.

With four floors, Namsan Donboseong is the largest Chinese restaurant in Myeong-dong. It’s a great place for group dining since it has separate rooms in addition to the main hall. Seoul Children's Museum is a facility established by the Seoul City government to help enhance the children's creativity and imagination. The museum offers various cultural activities, as well as arts and science programs that are fun for kids and also enjoyable for parents and teachers. There are about 100 interactive items on display from the basement level to the third floor.

Tongin Market is the place to go for traditional gireum tteok-bokki. The market is well-known as the best place in Korea for gireum tteok-bokki, and even foreign tourists come to have a taste. Gireum tteok-bokki is made by stir-frying rice cakes in oil and seasonings. There are two types of gireum tteok-bokki sold here. One kind is seasoned with just oil and soy sauce; the other is seasoned with spicy red pepper flakes and oil. Three of Tongshin Market’s gireum tteok-bokki eateries are particularly famous and popular. One such eatery is Original Grandmother's Gireum Tteok-Bokki. The shop has been featured on TV programs. Another is Hyoja-dong’s Old School Tteok-Bokki, once visited by John Kerry in 2014 while he was the U.S. Secretary of State.

Mung beans are freshly ground into paste with authentic millstones. Savory bindaetteok is made with the freshly made mung bean paste. Mung bean bindaetteok and meat pancakes are the only 2 items on the menu. You can eat hot made bindaetteok at one of the tables or take it to go. The original name of the Mingadaheon (Min’s club) was Minikduga (Minikdu’s home), but the place was renamed and remodeled into a fusion restaurant in 2001.Minikduga is designed by Gilryong Park (1898∼1943), the pioneer of Korean- modern architecture in 1930. This house, which is located in Gyeongun-dong, is a historical building that helps to understand the changes in Korean architecture.The exterior of the building looks like a traditional Korean house while on the inside it is decorated in a totally modern style. The house is decorated with Victorian furniture and a fireplace.Mingadaheon offers six kinds of Korean style-food and fusion food for lunch and dinner. There are three kinds of green tea from Boseong-gun. There are eight kinds of handmade rice cakes, Korean tea and Korean cookies are served with the set menu. There are 200 kinds of wine available to choose from.
