It is located in a traditional Korean building built by Lee Il-gu, a master carpenter and Human Cultural Property who participated in the restoration of Gyeongbokgung Palace. With high ceilings, the whole building has a soothing smell of pine. It’s a popular place for business dining as well as the first meeting between the parents of soon-to-be bride and groom. The restaurant specializes in course meals including gujeolpan, geonoljeolpan, sinseonno, jeonbokcho, hanbang kkorijjim, and stone baked mushrooms.

Yangjae Citizens' Park

Yangjae Citizens' Park, located near Yangjae Tollgate, was created in anticipation of the Seoul Asian Games (1986) and the 24th Olympic Games (1988). The park provides a scenic habitat for 94,800 trees from 43 different species including pine, zelkova, purple bloom maple, horse chestnut, and nut pine. The leafy green woods, such as is rarely seen in cities, are a popular date spot for couples. In the fall, the trees in the park bear an abundance of persimmons and quinces.Amenities and facilities include an outdoor wedding venue, 4.8-km walking course, basketball court, volleyball court (also used for foot volleyball), tennis court, barefoot walking path, and outdoor workout equipment. Memorial sites and monuments like the memorial of Patriot Yun Bong-Gil can also be found scattered throughout the park grounds.

Mongchon Museum of History

Designated as one of reknowned histroric sites in capital of Seoul (Historic Site No. 297), the museum is located within Mongchontoseong Station (Seoul Subway Line 8), and it houses the best-known relics and remains from ancient Baekje culture. The highlight of its exhibition includes the discoveries from Hangang River as well as more of early kingdom's great heritages. The Mongchon Museum of History displays artifacts from the excavations of the earthen fortifications as well as other artifacts of the Baekje Kingdom period, offering a glimpse into Baekje culture. A model of a Baekje dugout hut site reveals ancient dwelling patterns. Also, the facility displays perfectly preserved model of ancient houses, tombs, giving you the feel of traveling back to prehistoric ages. The museum serves as an educational institution for children and families, providing a wide assortment of cultural programs. However, visitors should note that some programs are limited as reservations are required for participation.

Eungbongsan Mountain

From Eungbongsan Mountain (94m) one can easily see the Hangang River, Seoul Forest, Jamsil Sports Complex and more in the eastern part of Seoul. With such a great view of the Hangang River, the mountain are packed with visitors including many photographers.
