Let's Run Park Seoul Nighttime Cherry Blossom Festival takes place along a 1km-long pathway blooming with cherry blossoms each spring. Events and programs are available all day but are most spectacular at night when the blossoms are lit up.


Gyeonggi-do(Icheon-si)

Located in Seolbong Park, the Woljeon Museum of Art Icheon commemorates the great artist Woljeon Chang Woo Soung and his works. Originally opened in Seoul Jongro-gu Palpan-dong, the museum moved to Icheon in August 2007 when Woljeon bequeathed the museum to Icheon City along with 1,532 pieces of artwork and personal memorabilia. The new Woljeon Museum has 2 stories and 1 basement floor with 5 exhibitions halls (permanent & planned exhibition halls), a Woljeon Memorial Hall, a lecture hall, a souvenir shop, and a cafeteria. In the permanent exhibition hall, Chang’s masterpieces and personal belongings are on display, ranging from paintings and calligraphic works to stamps, ceramic works, books, and stationery.

Gyeonggi-do(Siheung-si)

The Ansan Botanical Garden (안산식물원) has three pavilions: The first pavilion (382.81㎡) is a tropical garden, while the second pavilion in the middle (846㎡) and the third to the south (846㎡), feature marsh plants. Outside are four rose gardens, a fruit tree garden, a wild plant garden, a plant succession garden, and a pond (featuring a total of 46 plants including red momo botan lotus). The botanical park has a pyramid-shaped, modern greenhouse that is a source of pride for Ansan City. The park is also connected to Seongho Park.


Gyeonggi-do(Uijeongbu-si)

Hongkong Motel is situated in the center of Uijeongbu in northern Gyeonggi-do. As Uijeongbu Station on the Gyeongwon Line and Uijeongbu Jungang Station on the U-Line are in the vicinity of the hotel, and Uijeongbu Terminal is easily accessible by foot, business clients and tourists alike find the hotel very convenient. Hanok Maeul Hwangto Pension is located on the side of the Namhangang River of Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province. It is a beautiful two-story hanok, located in idyllic countryside, with a wide grass lawn perfect for families with children or group visitors. The grass lawn is furnished with traditional sights like a vine-colored pavilion, well, old-fashioned treadmill, neolttwigi jumping boards, and traditional mortar, creating a rustic atmosphere that doubles as a site of learning for children. A wooden footbridge connects the second floor of the building, with a great view of the fields nearby. There are five rooms in total, the Korean-style Family Room, Sarang, and bedrooms of Gwibin, Sinhon, and the Sudabang annex. Each room is furnished in the traditional red clay wall and Korean traditional paper interior as a continuation of the theme of hanok. The Family Room is equipped with a wide living room with a fabric sofa and wooden furniture, dining table, and a kitchen with cooking utensils, making it ideal for group visitors. Sudabang room in the annex is a great place for lovers and families, and its crowning feature is the clay fireplace in the living room. Roasted potatoes and sweet potatoes from the fireplace are delectable parts of the room’s appeal. Firewood must be bought from the pension. The pension is also equipped with red clay sauna, fired with Korean charcoal. It is offered free of charge for the guests. Outdoor barbeque and campfire sites may be reserved with extra cost.


Gyeonggi-do(Yangpyeong-gun)

Baegunbong (alt. 940m) is a sharp pointed peak that sits on the border between Yangpyeong-eup and Okcheon-myeon in Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do Province. It is the highest of the peaks along the southern ridge of Yongmunsan Mountain (alt. 1,157m). The two most popular hiking trails along Baegunbong start at Yeonsu-ri in Yongmun-myeon and offer a relatively short hike to the summit.
