Beautiful Tea Museum

Beautiful Tea Museum offers teas from around the world and shows items depicting international tea cultures. It displays teas, tea-related items, and ceramics made by young artists. Jeongdok Library

The Jeongdok Library opened in January 1977 on the former site of the Gyeonggi High School in Bukchon, Jongno-gu (Seoul). As a public city library, it boasts over half a million books and 16,300 reference materials. The Seoul Education Museum in the library houses a collection of 12,000 reference materials.   In addition to basic library functions (lending books and offering archives and reading rooms to the public), the library runs various cultural programs such as monthly lectures by invited authors, photo exhibitions, reading seminars, and music/dance performances. The library also hosts educational events on economy, science, and society and shows three movies in the Audio-Visual Room on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday of every week.   Through its vast collection of materials and its program of cultural events, the library hopes to enrich the lives of Seoul citizens by providing them with the latest information and a diversity of learning opportunities.

The plant is the world’s largest single automobile plant and employs over 34,000 personnel to produce an average of 5,600 vehicles a day. The plant has its own port, where up to three 50,000-ton vessels can anchor simultaneously. It has its own fire station, hospital, and patrol cars, all within the compound. Hyundai Motors Ulsan Plant is nestled among 580,000 trees and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to preserve the environment, such as a waste water disposal plant. The plant tour offers a great opportunity for visitors to experience the manufacturing process of Hyundai Motors, which is emerging as a global car brand. Hanok Homestay Information Center

Hanok Homestay Information Center was opened in the famous Bukchon Hanok Village by the Jongno-gu District Office to promote 'hanok tourism' in Seoul. The center spans over a lot area of 102.5㎡, with a total floor area of 52.05㎡. At the center, professional staff are working to offer hanok homestay reservation services, interpretation services and traditional cultural programs, a resting place for all visitors, and tourism information throughout the Jongno area, including Bukchon.The information center is divided into three sections: Information, Exhibition & Experience, and Daecheong. The Information section offers reservation services, operates hanok homestay program and introduces the features of hanok and available traditional culture program for hands-on activities. The Exhibition & Experience area is the venue for trying on hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) or ancient royal clothing as a traditional experience.

Sokcho Tourist & Fishery Market

Having recently changed its name to Tourist & Fishery Market (formerly Jungang Market), this market was opened in 1982, and is comprised of around 450 stores throughout 1 basement level and 2 above-ground levels. It covers a total floor area of 15,436 ㎡. Fishery items and hoetjip (raw fish restaurants) are located on the basement level, and general whole sales and retail sales, such as food and clothes, are available on the first and second floors. In addition, many of Sokcho's famous snacks like dak-gangjeong (sweet and sour chicken) are found at many of the stalls inside the market.

Luden Loquen SPACE

(For example, the gukhwa-cha (chrysanthemum tea) at the café comes from the Andong region.) The hanok (traditional Korean house) building has been reinterpreted through a modern design.
