Gyeonggi-do(Suwon-si) , suwon

Suwon River cuts across Hwaseong Fortress from the north to the south. Water gates were installed on the north and south walls to allow the river to flow through. Hwahongmun Gate is the north water gate of the fortress, containing seven arches, constructed in varying sizes, to let the water through. The central opening is larger than those toward the outside, making it easier to control the flow of water.

N Seoul Tower used to be the tower for broadcasting transmission and the bottom levels of the tower have restricted access to authorized staff only. Since the remodeling to the Seoul Tower Plaza in 2015, these levels are now opened the public. Andong Soju Museum was established in 1995 to promote and hand down the history and cultural characteristics of Andong Soju. The museum mainly displays the origin of Andong soju, the making process, Korean folk alcoholic drinks, the lineage of alcohol, and bottles and cups throughout history. The museum also offers a hands-on program and sampling area. The Traditional Food Museum is connected to Andong Soju Museum, so visitors can learn about traditional food and Andong’s folk dish, as well as traditional patterns of rites of passage.


Seoul(Jung-gu) , Myeongdong

Housed in Capo Building located on Eulji-ro 7-ga in Jung-gu, Seoul, Capo Sports Town specializes in sporting goods and sportswear. On six floors aboveground, the store sells global brands including Nike, Adidas, Puma, Mizuno, New Balance, and Under Armour. Of all brands, Capo Sports Town mainly deals with Nike products. The first floor is for men; the second floor is for women, whereas the third floor is for kids and training wear. The fourth floor displays soccer products, and the fifth floor is a multi-brand shop selling brands other than Nike. Having long specialized in soccer products, the store currently carries not only trainers and soccer balls but also training wear and inner wear, in addition to various sports clothing for running and training. Visitors can reach all stores via the stairs or elevator. Each corner of the stairs displays soccer balls bearing autographs of famous soccer stars and their soccer shoes, and each floor also has images of soccer games, offering things to see to shoppers. In addition, the store provides customers with a rest area equipped with sofas and chairs. It is a large store that makes browsing all items convenient.


Incheon(Ganghwa-gun) , Ganghwado Island

Bomunsa Temple is located at Seokmodo Island, which is the west of Ganghwado Island. It is said that the temple was constructed by Queen Seondeok during the Silla Era (635).  Entering the temple, you will see a 600-year-old Chinese juniper tree. Behind the tree is Seokgulamja, a small Buddhist temple in a natural cave. The entrance of the grotto is small, but the room inside is large. There is a huge millstone that the monks used for cooking beside Seokgulamja. It Is designated as Cultural Monument. If you go back side of the temple, you can see the must-see attractions here; the *Ma-aeseokbuljwasang and the Nunseop (implies eyebrow in Korean) Rock. The 10m high Ma-aeseokbuljwasang is engraved on the rock that looks like an eyebrow. The view of West Sea from Bomunsa Temple is beautiful.  The West Sea and sandy beaches of Seokmodo Island in which Bomunsa Temple is situated were featured in many films. Harmonizing with the mountains and the sea, the island is especially known for its sunset and seashore.  * Ma-aeseokbuljwasang  Ma-aebul is the Buddha image engraved on cliff or rock and Jwasang implies the image in a sitting posture. This restaurant's feature items are its Samseon-nurungjitang, Dongpayuk, and Seafood Galbi. Seafood is plentiful in the Samseon-nurungjitang, making for a delicous soup base to which nicely browned rice is added later. When the browned rice is added to the soup base, a loud crackling noise is heard, which signals the beginning of a delicious meal.
