This popular festival is held every year in November at Moseulpo Port, the southernmost region of Jeju-do Island. It celebrates the ‘Bangeo Fish (yellowtail)’, which is largely caught in this area. The meat of ‘bangeo fish (yellowtail)’ is chewy and tender, and so it is very popular served raw. It is also used in a variety of other dishes. Visitors can enjoy fresh bangeo at the festival and then pack some up to take home.Visitors can also try fishing and also sample some of Jeju’s other specialty foods such as heukdweji-gogigui (grilled wild boar meat), galchijorim (cutlass fish boiled in soy sauce with spices), and more. Incheon(Jung-gu) , Incheon Center

Yeonan Pier is the starting point for all coastal passenger ships bound for the numerous islands in the western sea. The nearby Incheon Fish Market is always bustling with people who come to buy fresh fish and pickled fish at reasonable prices. Also located near the pier is the sliced raw fish market operated by the Marine Products Association. The southern quay is where the boats and ships leave for sea fishing. The ships here are also available for rent for various purposes so events like reunions and seminars can be held aboard the ship.


Seoul(Songpa-gu) , Jamsil(Lotte World)

Designated as one of reknowned histroric sites in capital of Seoul (Historic Site No. 297), the museum is located within Mongchontoseong Station (Seoul Subway Line 8), and it houses the best-known relics and remains from ancient Baekje culture. The highlight of its exhibition includes the discoveries from Hangang River as well as more of early kingdom's great heritages. The Mongchon Museum of History displays artifacts from the excavations of the earthen fortifications as well as other artifacts of the Baekje Kingdom period, offering a glimpse into Baekje culture. A model of a Baekje dugout hut site reveals ancient dwelling patterns. Also, the facility displays perfectly preserved model of ancient houses, tombs, giving you the feel of traveling back to prehistoric ages. The museum serves as an educational institution for children and families, providing a wide assortment of cultural programs. However, visitors should note that some programs are limited as reservations are required for participation.


Seoul(Yongsan-gu)

Ever since the introduction of high-speed railroads, Yongsan Station has been a primary station for trains heading towards Honam, Janghyang, and Jeolla-do. The station is also the first and final stop for several express trains. Gyeongsangnam-do(Namhae-gun)

The Amethyst Cavern Park is the largest man-made cave tourist attraction in Korea. It is made inside a closed amethyst mine. Connected like a labyrinth, the cave is 2.5 kilometers long and about 16,529 square meters wide. The average temperature is between 12 and 14 degrees Celsius year round. Visitors can observe amethyst stones, see exhibitions, and attend a circus performance full of thrills. Outside the cave, visitors can enjoy a snow sleigh during winter, play facilities, ceramic workshop for youths and children, and hands-on learning experiences using sweet potatoes, peanuts, corn, and herbs.
