Jamjindo Island

Located in Jung-gu, Incheon, Jamjindo Island is a small island connected with Yeongjongdo Island. A newly opened road from the mainland to the island makes access to Jamjindo much more convenient. Its sunset views of mud flats dyed fantastic shades of red by the setting sun attract many visitors to take pictures and to dig out clams at low tide. There are also crowds of visitors waiting to take the short (just 5 minute) ferry ride to Muuido Island (famous for connecting to Silmido Island) at the ferry dock in Jamjindo Island. Visitors should check out the schedule of the ferry in advance as the ferry may not run to Muuido Island at low tide. Eurwangni Beach, Hanagae Beach, and Deokgyo Beach are easily accessible to the island.

Sinyang Beach
Jeju-do(Seogwipo-si)

Sinnyang Beach is not yet a popular tourist attraction, leaving the fine-grained, sandy beach relatively untouched. Thanks to its quiet atmosphere, the beach gives visitors a calmer, more secluded beach experience than some of the larger beaches on Jeju.The 80 meters-wide, crescent-shaped beach stretches for a total length of 300m. Bordered by waters that are only an average of 1m deep, the beach gently slopes at a 5 degree angle. Known for its small waves, the beach is the perfect spot for children.Windsurfing is available nearby and popular tourist attractions such as Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak) and Seopjikoji are located in the area.

Paradise Spa Dogo

The facility includes a Bade Pool for water massage treatments, a large pool with year-round warm sulfur hot spring water, and a variety of water recreation options. Particularly popular is the outdoor event spa, which is run with seasonal themes: in winter, special spas of Acanthopanax, ginger, and mandarin orange peel are open for enjoyment. Those visiting over the weekend can also participate in kimchi-making, persimmon-picking, and farm life programs. A spa visit can also be combined with a trip to one of the many nearby tourist attractions such as Hyeonchungam Temple, Oeamni Folk Village, Onyang Folk Museum, Sinjeongho Lake, and the Maeng Sa-seong House.

Hyowon’s Bell

At the summit of Mt. Paldalsan is Hyowon’s Bell, a bell that was created to honor the filial devotion of King Jeongjo towards his father, Sado Seja the royal prince. The bell is always rung three times- the first ring is in gratitude for the love of one’s parents, the second to hope for happiness in one’s family, and the third to prayer for self improvement.

Songjeong Beach

Songjeong Beach (송정해수욕장) is the ideal beach for families to swim together because of its shallow waters and fine sand. The white sandy beach stretches for 1.2 km, and covers an area of 62,150 square meters. The beach has the unique feel of the southern region, making the experience all the more fun. At the entrance of the beach is Jukdo, where you can find relaxation facilities in the evergreen groves. You can enjoy fishing as well at the northeast end of the beach. There is also a dock where you can use motorboats and take cruises in the summer. A particularly famous part of Songjeong Beach is the Songiljeong Pavilion, which offers a magnificent view of the sunrise and moonrise.Because this beach is a bit out of the Busan area, it is quite unlike many of the other beaches in Busan. Every year the Harvest Full-Moon Seaweed Festival and the Songjeong Beach Festival are held here, and many vacationers come to enjoy the celebrations.

Chilgapsan Ice Fountain Festival
Chungcheongnam-do(Cheongyang-gun)

Chilgapsan Mountain was called the Alps of Chungcheongnam-do. Nestled at the foot of the peak of Chilgapsan Mountain, Cheonjang-ri Alps Village is located at a high degree as its name ‘Cheonjang’ (천장; ceiling) suggests. The village includes the trail path of Chilgapsan Mountain, Cheonjang Lake, Cheonjang Lake suspension bridge, Rural and Urban Interchange Center, international standard-sized stadium, restaurant, swimming pool, educational center, horse-riding center, and holiday villas (also known as pensions). Various festivals like Ice Fountain Festival, International Calabash Festival, and Chilgapsan Mountain Bean Festival are also held in this village.Ice Fountain Festival is held in the area of the Alps Villages in Cheongyang-gun, Chungcheongnam-do from December to February with seven different themes. Every corner of the venue has ice fountains, and snow sculptures that add an even more winter ambience to the festival. Snow sledding, ice sledding and bobsleigh are available for all visitors to ride. The first floor is made up of the supervisor's office, exhibit hall, restaurant and snack bar. On the second floor, one can find the Periodical Room, the electronic information room and the audiovisual study room. The lounge and smoking room are also on the second floor. The language room and the reading room are on the third floor. The corner displaying domestic and foreign schoolbooks is especially eye catching. Both the Sociology Study Room and the reading room are on the fourth and fifth floors respectively.If you visit Namsan Library, try to visit the other tourist sites nearby. There are plenty of places see. One such attraction is Namsangol Hanok Village where you can see traditional Korean houses and the traditional lifestyles of the past. Also nearby is Namdaemun Market, the patriot An Jung-Geun Memorial, the National Theater of Korea and the Botanical Gardens. Luxury hotels such as the Hilton Hotel and Shilla Hotel are within walking distance, so tourists staying overnight should keep that in mind.
