After being used as an oil tank for 41 years, the culture tank was reborn by recycling the tanks that was left over. The 5 tanks were transformed into a performance hall, an exhibition hall, and pavillions, while one newly transformed tank became an information center. With a temporary parking lot turned into a culture yard, where visitors can enjoy various activities while exploring the area.

Hoengseong-gun is famous for its hanu (Korean beef) and the diverse agricultural experience programs the county offers. The lush forests and the road with a scenic view of Taegisan Mountain also attract many tourists. At 700 meters above sea level, Pyeongchang-gun is home to many ski resorts, making it a major destination for winter sports. Starting from Gonaepogu Port, Route 16 passes through Namduyeondae (beacon tower), Gueompogu Port, Susanbong Peak, Susan Reservoir Path, Hangmong Historical Site, Cheonghwa Village and finally ending at Gwangnyeong 1-ri Office. The trail is a 17.8-km walking course that includes uphill sections, passing through the woods, and going up some steps after Sineompogu Port. Therefore, it may not be suitable for baby carriages and wheelchairs.
