Gyeonggi-do(Gapyeong-gun)

The town of Cheongpyeong was named after the area's clear waters.  Located not too far from the station are Cheongpyeong Dam and Homyeong Lake, and the winding course of Cheongpyeongcheon Stream is quite a sight to behold. Cheongpyeong Station is also a gateway for tourists visiting Homyeongsan Mountain, Homyeong Lake, Anjeon Recreation Area, The Garden of Morning Calm, and Petite France. The station opened on July 25, 1939 upon the opening of the Gyeongchun Line. It was originally located at 338 Chongpyeong-ri, Cheongpyeong-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, and was later moved to its current location on September 1, 2009. The Gyeongchun Line finished upgrading its double-tracked line in 2010; the new alignment opened and the old one closed on December 21, 2010.


Seoul(Songpa-gu) , Jamsil(Lotte World)

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea (MCST) and Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) are hosting a large-scale Hallyu concert for international visitors in a bid to promote Korea Grand Sale, which is running from August 14 to October 31, 2015.Visitors can see top K-pop stars, including Girls' Generation, CN Blue and Beast performing on a single stage, as well as sample traditional Korean hansik dishes and try on traditional Korean hanbok clothes.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Uljin-gun)

Uljin-gun’s southern most port of Hupohang has beautiful seaside scenery throughout the four seasons. Almost all of the fish caught in the East Sea can be seen at Hupohang Port. On the hill behind the port is the Hupo Lighthouse, which lights the waters for boats coming in at night, and its observatory provides a great view over the East sea during the day. Also, children’s playground and rest area are situated on top of the hill next to the lighthouse. On the opposite side of the hill, visitors can enjoy the spectacular scenery of the 1,004-meter tall Baekamsan Mountain.At dawn, visitors can tour Hupohang Park and look at the many freshly caught fish. Visitors can also buy fresh fish at extremely low prices. Furthermore, the Hupohang Port is known for its numerous raw fish restaurants and the hot springs are located nearby as well.


Chungcheongnam-do(Yesan-gun)

Deoksan Hot Spa is conveniently in Sadong-ri, Deoksan-myeon, Yesan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, only one and a half hours away from Seoul. The spa resort’s hot springs have been known for their efficacy ever since the Joseon Dynasty (1932-1910) and the 45℃ germanium water is widely known for its health benefits. The region has been home to major spa resorts since 1917.Nearby tourist attractions include Chunguisa Temple, which enshrines the spirit of Patriot Yun Bong-Gil, and Sudeoksa Temple, a training site for Buddhist nuns. Within the spa district are 9 major spa facilities, approximately 50 hotels, and numerous restaurants.


Gyeonggi-do(Seongnam-si) , Yongin

Jangseogak (장서각) was established by Yi Wang-jik in 1918 as a library for Korean studies. Since its opening, the library has housed archives of Korean classics and modern works as well as the Jangseogak documents, which were transferred from the Cultural Asset Management Bureau (now Cultural Heritage Administration of Korea) in 1971.Jangseogak has a stack room, a space for collecting and arranging classical manuscripts and general books, a reading room, a room for references and genealogical records, a theses and periodicals room, an area for special documents, and rooms for filming, photocopying, and developing microfilms. It contains documents for scholastic research and education.Most notably, the Jangseogak holds the Uigwe (287 types 490 books, or Royal Protocols of the Joseon Dynasty, and Donguibogam (25 volumes 25 books/Treasure No. 1085-2) documents, which are both listed on the UNESCO Memory of the World register.
