Jeollanam-do(Gangjin-gun)

Daegu-myeon of Gangjin-gun was the primary site of Goryeo Dynasty celadon production between the 9th and the 14th centuries. Covering approximately 150 acres of land in nine villages, the area has been designated as the National Historical Site No. 68 since 1963, and continues to protect its 180 fire kilns and maintain the sophisticated art of celadon production. Meanwhile, celadons produced in this area have also been designated as national treasure, and regarded highly worldwide for their artistic value, so much so that some are preserved in the Louvre Museum in France.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Tongyeong-si)

A memorial park for the world-renowned composer Isang Yun was created in Docheon-dong, Tongyeong-si where the great composer was born. The Isang Yun Memorial Park consists of several sections including an exhibition hall displaying the composer’s legacy; a multi-purpose lounge, serving coffee and selling souvenirs; a Memorial Hall, where all kinds of performances and seminars take place; and Gyeongsa Square, an outdoor event venue.


Seoul(Yeongdeungpo-gu)

During the peak summer season, the island becomes packed with visitors from the mainland. People can enjoy snacks and BBQ treats near the seaside and also watch a firework-like nighttime view of the fishing boats lighting up the ocean.


Chungcheongnam-do(Taean-gun)

Located in Taean, Chungnam, Sky-Sea Resort is a marine pension resort built near to clean beach of the West Sea. Here, Sindu-ri is a good place for a family with children to visit in summer as the beach is gentle. The water is as clean as coral in the spring and fall, and especially in winter, you can see rough wave due to fierce northwind from China. Resort buildings are divided into total 4 complexes, and each building has various kinds of room that can accep from two persons to maximum 35 persons. There is BBQ facility in the yard between the resort building and the sea, and so you can have exotic BBQ party with the sound of the sea and wave. Seoul(Jung-gu) , Myeongdong

Gyeonggi-do(Gapyeong-gun) , Yangpyeong

Chi-ong Art Hall is a cultural complex center, established to support local artists and also citizens’ various artworks who lives in north-east of Gyeonggi-do, with Gapyeong as the central region. They operate schools that offer a variety of cultural programs such as making of earthenware, pottery, natural soap, natural dye, tea ceremony, traditional songs and samulnori. Also, they hosts exhibitions, outdoor performances, and a regular Youth Art Festival. Moreover, visitors can learn the process of how a hanok is built through the outstanding skills and knowledge acquired through over 20 years of research, as well as a whole representation of traditional hanok structure.


Gyeonggi-do(Hanam-si) , Namyangju

Misari Speedboat Park was created for use in rowing and sailing competition during the 1986 Asian Games and 1988 Seoul Olympic Games. The park features various other sports facilities around the lake, including soccer fields and footvolley courts. Other amenities include pavilions and snack bars, making this place beloved by locals as a place to relax and play.


Gangwon-do(Donghae-si)

Samhwasa Temple is located near the entrance of the Mureung Valley of Mt. Dutasan in the City of Donghae, Gangwon Province. The one-thousand year old, small but historical temple falls under the supervision of Woljeongsa Temple. It was originally named “Geukryeondae” when built by monk Jijangyulsa in the eleventh year of Queen Seonseok of the Silla Kingdom (AD 642). In 864 it was renamed Samgongam by the chief monk, and during the reign of King Taejo of the Goryeo Dynasty, it assumed the current name, Samhwasa Temple. The temple houses the main shrine (also called Yaksajeon), Jeokkwangjeon, Beomjonggak pavilion, Geukrakjeon shrine, Birojeon shrine, Chilseongdan shrine, and Muhyanggak pavilion. The temple is also home to national treasures No. 1277 (three story stone pagoda) and No. 1292 (steel sitting Buddha statue). Samhwasa Temple operates a school teaching Buddhism and offers temple stay programs providing a beautiful, serene experience of temple life.  


Chungcheongbuk-do(Yeongdong-gun)

Yeongdong in southern Chungcheongbuk-do Province is the largest producer of grapes in Korea. Yeongdong Grape is known for its sweet, fresh flavor and for having a great, sunlight-rich climate and stark temperature contrasts between day and night. Every year, in celebration of its top crop, Yeongdong hosts a festival where visitors pick grapes in a vineyard or fish them out of a pool, followed by using them to make different types of food, such as wine, chocolate, dry persimmon, and more, and simply enjoy the beautiful scenery of Yeongdong Town all the while.
