Traditional Folk Games Event of Andong Folk Museum

Andong Folk Museum holds a Traditional Folk Game Event each year to greet Lunar New Year's Day for tourists and visitors returning to their hometown. During the event, visitors can revisit local history through watching traditional folk plays, and make New Year's resolutions. Traditional activities offered include yutnori, neolttwigi (seesaw jumping), jegichagi (Korean hacky sack), kite-flying, paengichigi (top-spinning) and tohu (arrow throwing), rolling a hoop, geunettwigi (traditional swing), and skipping rope.

Cheongpungho Cherry Blossom Festival is held in the Cheongpung Lake are of Jecheon when varied spring flowers such as white cherry blossom, forsythia and azalea are in full bloom. Yanguidae Wetland Protected Area

Gunsan Station

Gunsan Station first started operations as an ordinary station on March 12, 1912 in Daemyeong-dong, Gunsan-si. The station was a historical site of Korean grief due to the exploitation of Japanese imperialism, as well as a bridge connecting people, as the area around the station became an open market at dawn and a meeting place in the daytime. Museum of Natural Dye Arts

The Museum of Natural Dye Arts is divided into two floors. Ahwon Gallery on the first floor showcases replicas of ancient dyeing tools and provides information on the natural dyeing process. The ‘relic hall’ on the second floor displays pieces of ancient artwork including fabric, clothes, pillows, blankets and accessories, all made using different methods such as dyeing, embroidery, quilting, knotting and sewing. Group visitors of 10 or more may try dyeing handkerchiefs, scarves, or t-shirts through the museum's hands-on experience programs.
