Gangwon-do(Taebaek-si)

365 Safe Town is a one-of-a-kind safety awareness theme park combining education, entertainment, recreation, and leisure into one public park. It is the world’s first edutainment facility dedicated to teaching the public safety lessons about fire, earthquakes, and other natural disasters. The park consists of three different areas. The Jangseong-jigu Zone (Korea Youth Safety Experience Hall) provides a realistic experience of natural disasters through 3D and 4D installations. The Jungang-jigu (Challenge World) offers a chance to test one’s limits through outdoor experience facilities like the tree track and zip line. Lastly, the Cheoram-jigu (Gangwon-do Fire Fighting Academy) is a specialized training center for fire-fighting officers.


Gangwon-do(Taebaek-si)

The O2 Ski Resort has a particularly good location in Taebaek City, Gangwon Province, which not only receives the first snowfall in Korea, but also has the longest snow season. The ‘town-style’ O2 Resort is located only ten minutes from downtown Taebaek and has a wide variety of sightseeing opportunities and entertainment options. The nearby locations of the Hangang and Nakdonggang Rivers provide particularly soft and natural snow, which is great for skiing. Even beginners can enjoy the 3.2km long course, which stretches all the way from the peak (1,420m high) to the base of the mountain. This mountain is so high that skiers literally ski down through the clouds! The 02 Resort has been specially designed for families. All ski courses start and end at the same place, enabling skiers of all levels to ski together. There is also sledding slopes and a children's park.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Changwon-si)

Hotel International opened in 1989 in Changwon-si, and was renovated in 1997. It is home to the largest convention hall in Gyeongsangnam-do Province. In addition to 131 Western-style and 8 Korean-style guestrooms, Hotel International has multiple restaurants, a business center, a fitness center, an arcade and a sauna.


Incheon(Yeonsu-gu) , Songdo International Business District

The Jian Health Promotion Center combines a rich experience in health promotion with medical services, on the cutting edge of medical culture and providing the best health promotion services. Gangwon-do(Yanggu-gun)

Yanggu Prehistory Museum displays artifacts from the Paleolithic Age in Sangmuryong-ri, Yanggu-eup and the Neolith Age in Hyeon-ri, Haean-myeon, to teach visitors about Korean prehistoric culture in an up-close and fun manner.


Jeollanam-do(Boseong-gun)

Boseong is considered the birthplace of the commercial tea industry and is the largest producer of tea in the country. At the Boseong Green Tea Festival, some of the most popular festival events (most of which are held out in the green tea fields) are the hands-on experience programs such as picking tea leaves, making tea, and sampling green tea snacks. Other events such as the tea exhibition & sale, and a number of celebratory performances are also scheduled to be held during the festival period.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Gimhae-si)

Eunhasa Temple is located in Shineosan Mountain in Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do Province. Legend has it that monk Jangyuhwasang built the temple after studying Buddhism in India. Despite being relatively small in size, the temple has a long history and it is also a place where many monks stayed to study during the Shilla and Goryeo times. The temple is also well-known as a filming location of the Korean movie “Dalmaya Nolja (Let's Play, Dharma).”


Gangwon-do(Hwacheon-gun)

Situated in Aemakgol (Dongchon-ri, Hwacheon-eup), this spacious dam is a popular destinations for those visiting the area near the DMZ. Built against possible North Korean water attacks, the dam curbs the upstream Bukhangang River. With the development of nearby tourism resources (including the Iron Triangle, Yanggu Punch Bowl Battle Battlefield, and the Goseong Unification Observatory), the dam has become a favorite tourist attraction in recent years. 


Gangwon-do(Yeongwol-gun)

The annual Dong Gang International Photo Festival, which began in 2002, is held in and around Dong Gang Museum of Photography in Yeongwol-gun, Gangwon-do Province. This festival showcases various themes of photo exhibitions to cater to visitors’ diversified tastes and interests. Along with the regular programs, the festival will also offer educational programs. The Dong Gang Photography Workshop will feature quality lectures by some of the most photographers and theorists from home and abroad such as an open lecture from renowned photographers. The workshop will provide exciting opportunities for the general public, as well as professional photographers.
