Gangwon-do(Samcheok-si)

Samcheok Express Bus Terminal, located in Namyang-dong, Gangwon-do, is a gateway for visitors to Donghae, the east coast of Korea.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Tongyeong-si)

The annual music festival, Tongyeong International Music Festival (TIMF), is held Tongyeong-si under the various themes every year. The festival aims to select the musics that will be viewed to bridging the gap between art and audience, and among audiences. The festival presents official performances as well as side events that are relating to embracing muscial diversity, such as children's song competition, fringe performances, and workshops.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Yangsan-si)

Tongdo Fantasia (통도 환타지아) is located in Yangsan, Gyeongsangnam-do Province, which shares borders with Milyang, Ulsan and Busan. This makes the amusement park very accessible by any means of transportation. Tongdo Fantasia operates Tongdo Country Club as well, and nearby Tongdosa Temple (통도사) is also available for visitors who want to look around the local historic sites. The amusement park, the biggest theme park in Gyeongsangnam-do Province sitting at the foot of Mt. Yeongchwisan (영취산), has over 30 amusement facilities, a large-scale swimming pool, a natural lake, a plaza available for holding various events and a large-scale outdoor theatre, all offering various activities and events.


Jeollabuk-do(Namwon-si)

Located in Namwon, Jeollabuk-do, Baemsagol is a 9-km grand valley, situated at the northern foot of Jirisan Mountain. Stretching from Banyabong Peak and Tokkibong Peak toward Sannae-myeon of Namwon-si, the valley is renowned for its beautiful autumn foliage. Baemsagol Valley is popular as a summer vacation destination because there’s always an abundance of water and forest trees. In the fall, the hills become ablaze with autumn tints, small streams flow over rock beds, and small pools of clear water from under the rocks give tourists a nice reason to linger. Other notable places nearby include Seonindae, Seoksil, Yoryongdae, Tagyongso, Byeongso, Byeongpungso, Jeseungdae and Ganjangso.


Gangwon-do(Gangneung-si)

Busan(Gijang-gun)

Moreover, Ilgwang Beach hosts various cultural events throughout the year, including the 4-day theater festival held annually on August 1st.


Busan(Haeundae-gu) , Haeundae

The Busan International Short Film Festival started in the 1980s as the ‘Korea Short Film Festival,’ introducing a variety of domestic short films including 8mm films and independent movies produced by university students and citizens. In 2000, the festival was renamed the ‘Busan Asian Short Film Festival’ and expanded to include short movies from all across Asia, many of which included popular Asian films of the year. As time went on, the festival once again expanded its scope to include films from around the world and was renamed the ‘Busan International Short Film Festival’ in 2010. When it first started, the festival laid a foundation for the development of Korean movies. The festival continues to stir up support and interest in short films, acting as a catalyst for the Korean short films industry.


Gangwon-do(Pyeongchang-gun)

Geumdang Valley (금당계곡), located upstream of the Pyeongchanggang River, is a gorge between three different districts of Bongpyeong-myeon, Yongpyeong-myeon and Daehwa-myeon, just west of Geumdangsan Mountain (1,173 m). Geumdang Valley is an impressive site with sections of both gentle and fast flowing valley waters. From late March through April full-blown azalea covers the mountainsides and valleys providing visitors with a refreshing spring scent . To reach Geumdang Valley, travel down along the Pyeongchanggang River from Jangpyeong or, you trek up the valley from Anmi elementary school. Coming down to Pyeongchang-eup from Daehwa-myeon area, visitors will encounter an intersection called, “Saechugeori”. The intersection has two parts: Sanganmi and Haanmiri and a sign indicating the Geumdang Valley entrance. Across the valley, odd-shaped rock formations and cliffs appear one after another along the river. The area is a native habitat for a spcies of otter (Natural Treasure No. 330) and a favorite spot for catching catfish.


Chungcheongbuk-do(Jecheon-si)

Bakdaljae refers to the steep hills dividing Bongyang-eup and Baekun-myeon in Jecheon-si. It has a legendary sad love story about Bakdal doryeong and Geumbong nangja. Jecheon-si uses the characters of ‘Bakdari and Geumbongi’ to promote. Iljumun Gate is set at the entrance of the hill to offer things to see for visitors. Also, based on Bakdaljae landmark project, it became a famous site for tourists.
