Gangwon-do(Yanggu-gun)

The 4th Tunnel was discovered on March 3, 1990. It is located 1,200m from the Military Demarcation Line in the demilitarized zone of South Korea. This is the only tunnel to be discovered that provides full access to tour groups. Educational instruction is given in the square outside the tunnel.

Seongnam Botanical Garden is operated by Seongnam-si, Seongnam Botanical Garden that was a discarded drainage area that was transformed into an ecological park with an arboretum. It is located in Eunhaeng 1-dong, Jungwon-gu, Seongnam-si. The garden is rich in greenery, with a diverse range of plant, wildflowers, and insects, making it an ideal place for students to see and learn about nature. Muchangpo Mystic Sea Road Shrimp and Gizzard Shad Festival takes place at Muchangpohang Port & Muchangpo Beach in Boryeong, Chungcheongnam-do. You may enjoy diverse experience programs enclosed net fish farm fishing, hand fishing and shrimp fishing, and catching razor shell clams. Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , Former Jeju

Bultapsa Temple is a branch of Gwaneumsa Temple, the headquarters of the 23rd district of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. It was built in 1914 by Monk Anbongryeogwan at the site of Wondangsa, a temple during the Goryeo Dynasty. After undergoing expansion in 1934, a prayer hall spanning four kans (a Korean unit of measurement referring to the square space created by 4 wooden posts in a traditional building; roughly 6 to 8 feet from post to post) was built. Most of the temple was destroyed during the Jeju Uprising on April 3, 1948. It was rebuilt in 1953. Today, the temple has Daeungjeon Hall, Yosachae monk quarters, Jonggak Bell Tower, and Cheonwangmun Gate. The five-story stone pagoda is Jeju's only stone pagoda from the Goryeo Dynasty. It was designated Treasure No. 1187 in November 1993.


Jeollanam-do(Haenam-gun)

Mihwangsa, located in Dalmasan Mountain, Seojeong-ri, Songji-myeon, Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do, is considered as one of the most beautiful temples in the nation. Unlike other temple stay programs, Mihwangsa Temple Stay, which is a year-around program available from January throughout December, offers diverse options from a one-day stay to an 8days/7nights program. Jeollabuk-do(Gunsan-si)

Sinsido Island is the largest of the 24 islands in the Gogunsan Island Cluster 50 kilometers to the southwest of Gunsan. The cluster of islands (Sinsido, Seonyudo, Jangjado, Munyeodo, etc.) makes for such a breathtaking scene that it is affectionately known as the ‘Star Above the Lake.’ Sinsido, one of the most beautiful islands in the cluster, is located at the center of the Saemangeum Sea Wall connecting Gunsan and Buan. The sea wall itself is also a point of interest as it is the longest of its kind worldwide. To make the island of Sinsido even more tourist-friendly, the island government has systematically begun opening and supporting island “minbaks” (lodging facilities at private residences). While staying at one of these minbaks, guests can explore the island, visit the island’s mid-sized beach or go fishing. Although it’s possible to fish right off the rocks on the shores, travelers are encouraged to a rent a fishing boat in order to see more of the beautiful island scenery.


Jeollanam-do(Suncheon-si)

Founded by Suncheon City, Ppurigipeunnamu Museum displays the collections of Han Chang-gi, the founder of two renowned magazines in Korea. The collections range from the relics of the Bronze Age to those of modern times. Through the museum, visitors can catch a glimpse of the lifestyle and culture of Korea’s ancestors.
