Ilgwang Beach
Busan(Gijang-gun)

Located in northeastern Busan, Ilgwang Beach is a popular beach that covers almost 40,000㎡ in area. As the water level is not too deep, it provides a perfect getaway for families with young children. In addition to distinct tourist sites such as Samdseongdae Pavilion and Gangsongjeong Pine Tree Forest, there are numerous accommodation, dining and convenience facilities near the beach. Jugam Mongdol
Gyeongsangbuk-do(Ulleung-gun)

There are no sand beaches on Ulleungdo Island. Because the coastline is made up of steep rock walls, all beaches are formed by small pebbles. But the water is very clean and the scenery, strikingly beautiful. In particular, Jugam Mongdol Beach is considered extremely beautiful because of such attractions as Samseonam Rocks (Three Fairy Rocks) and Gwaneumdo Island are nearby. Toilets are available, but to preserve its pristine natural beauty, there are no other facilities for your convenience.

Pyochungsa Temple
Gyeongsangnam-do(Miryang-si)

Pyochungsa Temple is located at the base of Jaeyaksan Mountain, 20 kilometers away to the east of Miryang-si. The temple was built in the fourth year of King Heungdeok’s reign of the Silla Kingdom (829). It was named as ‘Pyochungsa’ to praise Samyeongdang Yujeong (aka Monk Songun Daesa) who played an important role in the peace envoy during the invasion of Japan. There are the Cheungcheung Falls, Geumgang Falls an icy stream nearby, as well as Sajapyeong field at the ridge of the mountain.

Jeju Eco Suites (제주에코스위츠)

The idea behind Jeju Eco Suites was created by a husband-and-wife team of tour guide and painter. Its wooden buildings are surrounded by grass fields, giving the Suites an exotic feel of being in a forest vacation home. There are 10 rooms in total, including the Deluxe Suite, Jacuzzi Suite, and Spaville Building. The interior is decorated with the same elegant and comfortable touch. All rooms are furnished with living rooms and comfortable sofas, wide terraces, and fully-equipped kitchens, which help to make the stay just like home. The two Spaville Buildings, which come in 45-pyeong (150m2) and 75-pyeong (250m2) varieties, are highly popular among visitors who prefer privacy. All rooms accommodate travelers with dogs, while the lobby offers a suite of toys for children. Other amenities like free barbecue grill for rental, free laundry facilities, and free breakfast (for guests staying longer than 2 nights) show that the team is truly attentive to the comfort of the guests. From November to January, it also allows guests to experience the mandarin orange harvests in the nearby field. Oseam Temple
Gangwon-do(Inje-gun)

Oseam (오세암), is an annex of the larger Baekdamsa Temple (백담사), it is a small Buddhist temple built in 644 under the reign of Queen Seondeok of the Shilla Dynasty. It is the home of the famous legend that provided inspiration for the production of Oseam the movie, and the animated film. It is a popular meditation venue for Buddhist monks and famous poets, including Siseup Kim and Yongun Han, who are said to have stayed here. It lies against the backdrop of Gwaneumbong Peak and is surrounded by the many scenic tourist attractions of Mt Seorak.

Yeongoksa Temple
Jeollanam-do(Gurye-gun)

Yeongoksa Temple is located in Naedong-ri, Toji-myeon, Gurye-gun and was constructed by Yeongi, a high Buddhist monk, who also helped create Hwaeomsa Temple. The temple was destroyed during the Japanese Invasion of Korea and the Korean War. In spite of the damage, the temple has continued to house two national treasures: East Monk Stupa of Yeongoksa Temple (National Treasure No. 53) North Monk Stupa of Yeongoksa Temple (National Treasure No. 54). The temple also houses four designated treasures. Jangsungbu, a Buddihist monk at the time, demolished the previous temple and rebuilt a Buddist sanctuary on the site. It has 5 rooms in the front and 3 rooms on the side made with embankments of granite stones and natural stones, and opened on March 1, 1981 through donations and government support. There is a memorial stone near the temple of Go Gwang-sun, who was the leader of the army who died for his devotion. According to the story, Yeongi discovered a pond in the current sanctuary area when reading about the land's topography. While he was looking at the middle of the pond, one swallow flew from a whirlpool. After that, the pond began to dry up and the place was then used for the temple. As such, the name "Yeongok refers to the phenomenon of "Yeon," a swallow, and "Gok," a valley.

The Goesan Red Pepper Festival is held during harvest season to promote the excellence of peppers grown in Goesan, a major production area of Korea. The festival has numerous programs, including pepper-picking and fish-catching contest (using the bare hands), pepper recipe competition, pepper cooking contest, and garden pepper planting. Brightly colored and full of flavor, Korean peppers are a particularly popular agricultural product. This is a fun festival where visitors can taste or buy Korean peppers, and talk with farmers.
