Jeollanam-do(Wando-gun)

Cheongsan Jiri Beach offers a beautiful view of the sunset and is regarded as one of the best beaches on Cheongsando Island. With its clean, shallow waters and fine white sand, it is a great vacation spot for families. The beach stretches for 1km, is 100m in length, and is bordered by some 500 ancient pine trees that provide natural shade from the sun. The waters of Cheonsando Island teem with fish, earning the island its reputation as one of Korea’s major sea fishing sites.


Jeollabuk-do(Muju-gun)

Deogyusan Mountain was designated as Korea's 10th National Park in 1975, along with Odaesan Mountain.  To the east is Gayasan Mountain, the west Naejangsan Mountain, the south Jirisan Mountain, and to the north Gyeryongsan and Songninsan Mountains. The auto campsite, located inside Deogyusan National Park, has a clean and organized surroundings due to the divided grass-covered sections.


Jeollanam-do(Gokseong-gun)

Located on the foot of Mt. Dongrisan, Taeansa Temple was built by three monks during the reign of the Silla King, Gyeongdeok (742). Afterwards, monk Hyecheol constructed a large temple with 132 rooms during Koryeo Taejo’s reign, which was established as a central seminary of the Mt. Dongrisan area. In the precincts there are four treasures, including Hyecheolguksa Sari Pagoda (national treasure no. 273), Gwangjaseonsa Pagoda (national treasure 274) and Neungpagak (regional tangible asset no. 82) which are worth seeing. However, it was badly damaged during the Korean War and had been refurbished since then. An invigorating valley and a shady nook can be reached just 1.8km from the entrance of the temple. It is a popular trail during the fall, with its bright maple leaves.


Daegu(Dong-gu)

With the aim of enriching the lives of Dong-gu district’s inhabitants, Ayang Art Center (former Donggu Arts & Sports Center) is equipped with a wide range of facilities for hosting performances, exhibitions, culture classes, sport events, etc. Available facilities include a grand performance hall (1,165 seats), variable black box theater (200 seats), outdoor performance hall (400 seats), recreation ground, exhibition hall, culture and arts educational facilities, a wedding hall, sports center with a swimming pool, and a fitness center. As of March 1, 2013, the center's name has been changed from Donggu Arts & Sports Center to Ayang Art Center.

Chungcheongnam-do(Hongseong-gun)

Opened in December of 1923, Gwangcheon Station was opened as an ordinary railroad station. The area of Gwangcheon Station consists of one eup (population of about 15,000) and four myeons. With its farming, agriculture and small business, this farming community is known nationwide for its togul salted shrimp and Joseon laver.


Jeollanam-do(Gurye-gun)

Hwayapyung which is proud of splendid natural environment is located in a thick forest of Jiri mountain. Travelers can enjoy walking through the woods and can feel the nature to travelers through the deep valley of Jiri mountain and pine wood forests. There are many auxiliary facilities for the family. Nearby, there are Hwaeomsa(temple), Cheoneunsa(temple), Nogodan, Saseongam and Onchon land as tourist spots. Also, Goroswoe water from Jiri mountain is popular.


Jeju-do(Jeju-si)

Hyangiram Sunrise Festival is an annual overnight festival that begins on New Year's Eve. It takes place at the historic Hyangiram Hermitage, which was built in year 644. As the New Year's Day dawns, visitors can witness the sun rise above the horizon from Hyangiram, which literally means "a hermitage facing the sun."
