Seorak Special Tourist Zone is a vast zone included in 3 administrative districts, encompassing the entirety of Seoraksan Mountain. In this zone, visitors have various ways to enjoy Seoraksan Mountain and the natural environment of the East Sea region. Sokcho, which occupies the largest area in the zone, comes first when talking about Seoraksan National Park. Tourists can appreciate the picturesque scenery of the sea and coastal lakes as well as the mountain scenery of Seoraksan Mountain. Hikers can climb the mountain or ride a cable car. Sokcho beach is a hot spot that attracts young people who fill the place with energy and life all through the summer. Abai Village, which appeared in several TV dramas for its unique atmosphere, and Sokcho Jungang Market offer local specialties, such as abai sundae (Korean sausage) and dak-gangjeong (fried chicken nuggets coated in a sweet and sour sauce). Goseong, which is bordered by Seoraksan Mountain and Geumgangsan Mountain, is part of the Northern Limit Line (NLL) that offers a unpolluted, beautiful landscape around the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Hwajinpo Beach near Hwajinpo Lake, which is a lagoon, and Songjiho Beach near Songjiho Lake are the best places to spend a peaceful vacation. At Hwajinpo Lake, tourists can visit the summer houses used by the first South Korean President Lee Seung-man and the former North Korean leader Kim Il-seong before the division of the Korean Peninsula. Lastly, although it is a relatively small part of Seorak Special Tourist Zone, Yangyang has resources for mountain tourism and maritime culture, such as Seoraksan National Park and Naksan Provincial Park. This is a premium hanok (traditional Korean house) hotel located near Jeonju Hanok Village. As evident from its name, the hotel promises a comfortable stay in a hanok since its opening in 2018. The hanok buildings are built next to one another on a plot spanning 19,840 m2. Each of the 11 buildings is named after the kings of the Joseon Dynasty. Sejogwan, one of the 11 building, has six rooms, divided between Gold and Silver Rooms. All rooms are furnished with beds, and combine modern comfort with traditional sensibilities. Wooden exposed beams (Gold Room) and window wall facing the scenery outside recreate the unique beauty of hanok, while amenities such as TV, refrigerator, and air conditioning offer a comfortable stay. The hotel has about 150 parking spots, a hanok cafe, and the Convention Center with spaces such as Daejanggeum Hall, Saimdang Hall, Chungmugong Hall, and Hunminjeongeum Hall. KBS On (KBS 온 (KBS견학홀))

Located within the KBS broadcasting station in Yeouido, the KBS Exhibition Hall is the first museum in Korea dedicated to the history and evolution of the Korean broadcasting industry. The exhibition hall is a space where visitors can experience radio and television broadcasting production firsthand. The KBS Exhibition Hall first opened on January 1, 1977 and after extensive renovation, the exhibition hall reopened in April 2001. Now, the hall offers better services than before with the addition of a Hologram Corner, 3D TV Experience Corner, and Character Photo Zone. The KBS tour starts from the main hall on the second floor and continues onto the fourth and fifth floors. In addition to the small museum, radio drama studio, sound effect instruments, 9 o'clock news corner, hologram corner, 3D movie experience hall and chroma key corner, visitors have the chance to observe the TV production process and radio programming process through a window that looks out into the broadcasting studio.
