Chungcheongbuk-do(Chungju-si)

Located in Donsan-ri and Neungam-ri, Angseong-myeon, Chungju-si, Cheongcheongbuk-do, Angseong hot spring offers weak alkaline water coming from 700m deep underground. It is known to be effective for treating back pain, stiff shoulders, fatigue, and a cold constitution in addition to softening the skin.


Jeollanam-do(Gurye-gun)

The vast region of the Gurye Special Tourist Zone comprises Toji-myeon, Gwangui-myeon and Sandong-myeon, which has a river and an open field surrounding the mountainous area. Every part of Gurye deserves the title of Special Tourist Zone for offering many things to see. Well-known for its rich soil, the most outstanding natural resources of Gurye is Jirisan National Park, the first to be designated as a national park, and Seomjingang River. Every year, many hikers visit Jirisan National Park, also called the “bosom of a mother.” The park is cherished for its unpolluted scenery, such as its deep and wide geographical features and crystal clear valleys. The park offers diverse hiking trails and has mountain retreats for backpackers. Jirisan Dulegil Trail that runs along the periphery of Jirisan Mountain is where one could enjoy the experience of mountain glens, different from mountaineering. On their way hikers and trekkers can see groups of Sansuyu (cornus fruit) in spring as well as the autumnal tints of the mountain and valley in autumn. Another strength is that the park has different types of accommodations including Hanok (Korean traditional house) homestay and a guest house, apart from leisure facilities including hot springs in Jirisan. The park is a great place for historical inquiries as it is filled with historic temples, including Hwaeomsa Temple and Yeongoksa Temple, and historic relics. Flowing from Gokseong to Hadong, Seomjingang River creates a tranquil ambience. The cleanest ever in Korea, a large number of marsh snails and sweetfish live in this river. Gangwon-do(Samcheok-si)

The Maengbang Flower Festival is one of the landmark spring celebrations in Korea and is held every April near Samcheok-si City in Ganwon-do Province. The festival boasts a breathtaking view of canola flowers, cherry blossoms and the blue sea of the East Coast. The festival also offers a diverse set of events and programs including a local produce market, fresh strawberry picking, and exhibition on canola flowers and bees. The Samcheok Tourist Center will also be at the festival to help any tourists to the area visit the variety of tourist attractions nearby such as Haesindang Park, New Millennium Ocean Road, Wife of King Suro Park, and the filming place for “One Fine Spring Day.”


Gyeongsangnam-do(Hadong-gun)

Park Kyung-ri Toji-gil along the Seomjingang River is a walking path in Hadong and was the main setting for the novel Toji (The Land). The 31km path is divded into two courses: Course 1 is 19 km long and passes Pyeongsa-ri which was an important setting in the novel and, Couse 2 is a 13 km flower road, passing along National Highway Route 19.  Trekkers can enjoy the view of Seomjingang River on both courses. Course 2 includes Simni (10ri) Cherry Blossom Road to Guksaam Buddhist Hermitage. It also includes Hwagae Market, Ssanggyesa Temple, Simni Cherry Blossom Road, Buril Falls, ponds covered with lotuses and other beautiful places.


Chungcheongbuk-do(Cheongju-si)

Osong International Bio Industry Exposition in Korea will take place at Osong Biovalley (near Osong KTX Station) and is sponsored by Chungcheongbuk-do, Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy, and Cheongju City. With a theme of “The Secret of Life, Beautiful Future,” the expo aims to develop and promote Chungcheongbuk-do’s bio industry field. The festival is in its 10th year and 223 copmanies from all over the globe will participate. The expo is dived into themed halls like a Bio Future Universe Pavilion, varied hands-on participation halls, the Industrial Hall and others related to the bio industry.

Gangwon-do(Samcheok-si)

Samcheok Culture & Art Center is a cultural complex located in Seongnam-dong, Samcheok-si, Gangwon-do Province. The center opened its doors to the public on June 4th, 1994 with such facilities in place as grand/small theaters, outdoor performance stages and exhibition chambers.


Busan(Dong-gu)

Hostel Familie occupies two floors of a four-story building located in Choryang-dong, Dong-gu, Busan, which is less than two minutes away from Busan Station and 10 minutes away from Busan Port International Passenger Terminal, both on foot. It has six rooms with a bed, four dormitory-style rooms with beds, and one dormitory-style 'ondol (floor-heated)' room for those who prefer to sleep on the heated floor. Each of the guestrooms has a kitchen for guests who wish to cook, but guests staying in a dormitory can use the shared kitchen. All the guestrooms have a bathroom with shower. The hostel has computers in the lounge for the guests’ use.


Jeju-do(Jeju-si)

Located in Oedo-dong, Jeju-si, Jeju-do, "Woldae," which means “a moonlight plain,” is a rock in a stream surrounded by densely-packed with centenarian pine trees and hackberry trees.Jogongcheon Stream is a special stream that flows through a valley year-round, which is particularly unusual in Jeju. The stream was named after that a relic, called "jogong", was transported from a government office during Joseon and Goryeo Dynasty to a nearby location. Tourist destinations in the area include Iho Beache, Yongduam Rock (Dragon Head Rock), and Yongyeon Pond.
