Gyeongsangbuk-do(Pohang-si)

The POSCO Museum, which opened in Goedong-dong, Pohang-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do on July 3, 2003, shows the history, spirit, corporate culture and vision of POSCO. This 3-story, 3,636 m² building rests on a 9,917 m² site, and the exhibition area is 1,983 m². In other advanced countries, it is common for a company to open a museum, however, the POSCO museum came in the spotlight from the master planning phase since it was a rare case in Korea. The museum was established with the aim of creating a space where the past, present and future of POSCO coexist. POSCO became one of the most competitive companies in the world in just 30 years, when the concept of steel manufacturing had not existed in the country. POSCO was able to achieve success thanks to the POSCO employees who fought against all kinds of adversities. The POSCO museum showcases such great achievements, as well as the entire history of the company, giving dreams and hopes to the youth who visit the museum.


Gyeonggi-do(Osan-si)

Story Garden by Amore Pacific is a special space where visitors can learn about and experience the company's products and history. The Story Garden is designed mainly based on three elements: stories, space design, and experiences. Visitors can learn about the history of beauty that Korean women have pursued from the modern era until now in the Story Garden. Tourists can visit exhibition halls and see how cosmetics are manufactured. There are many things to experience and see as well. With beautifully designed lights, the Story Garden is an ideal photo spot. Visitors will be given a special lipstick with their own special message printed on it.


Gyeonggi-do(Pocheon-si)

Pocheon Sansawon is a museum of traditional Korean liquor, mainly home-brewed liquor. Several rows of liquor crock pots in Sewollang, a garden in Sansawon, create a magnificent view. Old materials and books about the history of Korea's liquor culture attract visitors. After touring the museum, visitors can try non-sterilized liquor of Baesangmyeon Brewery and join activity programs for making home-brewed liquor, fruit-based liquor, seasonal liquor, and more.


Jeollabuk-do(Jeonju-si)

Jeonju, the mecca for the traditional culture and style of Korea! The Korea Traditional Culture Center was established to preserve and develop Korean traditional culture, to promote it in and outside Korea and to create an industry. The center supports traditional cultural projects in order to preserve the cultural assets of Korea, such as hanok (traditional Korean housing), hansik (Korean food), hansori (traditional Korean music) and Hangeul (Korean alphabets), and graft modernity onto traditional culture. Visitors can participate in education and activity programs related to Korean culture. The Korea Traditional Culture Center has the Hanji Industry Support Center, the Traditional Culture Creation Center, and Jeonju Masterpiece Onn, which is why the center is called the mecca for traditional Korean culture and style.


Daejeon(Yuseong-gu)

The Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) researches and develops technologies required to make high-tech airplanes, satellites, and aerospace rockets. The institute is not a simple promotion center, it is where actual research is done. KARI has led the launching of Naro, Korea's first rocket. After watching a promotion video in the auditorium, tourists are guided to the lobby in the main building to listen to explanations and look around the exhibits: KSR-Ⅲ, the world's ninth developed science rocket; Arirang-5, a multi-purpose satellite; smart UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle); and the spacesuit of Lee So-yeon, Korea's first astronaut. In the Satellite Test Building, visitors can see and listen to explanations about a satellite that is currently being researched and tested. They can tour key aerospace facilities such as the Launch Environment Lab, Orbit Environment Lab and Satellite Assembly Lab. * With the successful launch of rocket Naro, Korea became the 11th country to join the Space Club (a group of countries that have the technologies to launch a space rocket).


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Pohang-si)

A robot museum, a place full of robots everywhere The Robo Life Museum is a place where one can meet robots that are already part of our daily lives, knowingly and unknowingly. You will get to know more about robots while dancing and drawing with them as well as touching and operating them. In the museum, visitors can indirectly experience what the future will be like. It also is an ideal place for kids to satisfy their curiosity and have fun.


Gangwon-do(Chuncheon-si)

The Animation Museum is the only animation museum in Korea. The exhibition hall on the first floor shows the origin, development and types of animation, techniques and process of making amination, history of the development of animation-related equipment, and the history of Korean animation. On the second floor are Chuncheon Hall, US Hall, Japan Hall, Europe Hall, and Other Regions Hall (Asia and other regions), where visitors can get to know the history of animation throughout the world. In addition, various activity programs await visitors, like watching 3D animation films, experiencing audio effects/dubbing and shooting stop-motion animation.


Chungcheongnam-do(Seocheon-gun)

Hansan Mosi (Ramie Fabric) Museum, where you can experience Hansan ramie fabric and Hansan Sogokju The Hansan Mosi (Ramie Fabric) Museum opened in August 1993 to preserve and promote the tradition and techniques of weaving ramie fabric. The 85,000 m2 area consists of Mosigak (a shrine), workshops, an education center, the Hansan Sogokju brewery, the Folklore Exhibition Hall, etc. In the exhibition hall inside the education center are books about the history of ramie fabric, looms, tools for weaving ramie fabric, ramie fabric items, etc. The workshops demonstrate the process of making ramie cloth including making raw ramie thread called 'taemosi,' splitting thick raw ramie thread, connecting and aligning split ramie thread, starching it, and weaving it on a traditional loom. About 250 local cultural artifacts displayed in the exhibition hall show what the life of Koreans was like in the past. Every year, the exhibition hall displays new Hansan ramie clothes designed in modern styles. There is a shop that sells various ramie fabric products including ramie cloth. You can enjoy the Hansan Ramie Fabric Festival in May or June every year.  


Chungcheongbuk-do(Eumseong-gun)

Enjoy Korean craft beer in a cultural place Korea Craft Brewery is the first craft brewery in Korea established with 100% domestic capital. The brewery produces craft beers in partnership with Hitachino Nest Beers, also known as Owl Beers. The brewery is a cultural space as well. It runs three kinds of tour programs: "Tour with a Brew Master," "You Drink, We Drive" Tour, and the "Classic Tour." The brewery is planning various cultural activity programs as well as beer tasting and promotions.
