Gyeongsangnam-do(Tongyeong-si)

This festival is comprised of a wide range of events including exhibitions, hands-on programs, music concerts in flower gardens, the 7080s concert, a photograph contest, photo exhibition of Bukcheon Cosmos Station, caricature drawings and more.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Changwon-si)

The main menu of this restaurant includes jorim (braised), jjigae (stew), and gui (grilled), used with fresh cutlassfish. Also, only locally harvested rice and kimchi are served along with all the dishes.  


Gyeongsangnam-do(Hadong-gun)

At Pyeongsa-ri, Akyang-myeon, Hadong-gun, which is the filming location of the great historical novel, Toji, written by Park, Gyeong Ri, the Toji Literature Festival has been held every October since 2001, gathering nation wide writers and literature enthusiasts. The Toji Literature Festival that pays tribute to the novel Toji, restored the background of the novel depicting the modern history of Korea between the years of the Donghak Revolution in 1897 and the Liberation of Korea in 1945. It has become one of the nation’s major literature festivals, with diverse facilities such as Choichampandaek, the Toji Film Setting, and the Pyeongsa-ri Literature Museum.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Jinju-si)

Seoul Kkakdugi specializes in traditional Korean cuisine such as galbi, which is marinated for about 48 hours, and meat stock comprised of various seasonings with beef lean meat. Also, an artificial waterfall gives a well-balanced ambience to the restaurant.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Tongyeong-si)

Hallyeo National Marine Park Oyster Festival is held in Tongyeong, Gyeongsangnam-do. Starting with a prayer ritual, the festival will feature an oyster food-tasting event, an oyster-shucking contest and more events. Visitors can take part in some of oyster-themed hands-on activities such as making a pizza with oysters and making oyster candles.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Geoje-si)

Constructed in 1974, the Haegeumgang Hotel has a rich history and tradition through many of its famous guests. The hotel gets its reputation from its impressive location overlooking the Haegeumgang River, which gives it a view of the uniquely shaped rocky embankment, the overarching cliffs, and the South Sea. Every morning from the hotel's outdoor coffee shop, the lobby, or even from their rooms, guests can enjoy the sunrise reflected off the Hageumgang River and Sajabawi Rock.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Hadong-gun)

Jirisan National Park spans from Daeseong-ri, Hwagae-myeon, Hadong-gun to Byeoksoryeong (벽소령), where the Jirisan History Museum is. A guide map of North Korean red guerrilla routes on Jirisan Mountain can be seen in front of the museum and the museum explains the history of North Korean fighters in the area. The North Korean partisans didn’t surrender even after the Korean War ended. The Jirisan History Museum shows the guns used at the time and visitors can also get to know the life of slash-and-burn farmers living in the area of Jirisan Mountain. Gyeongsangnam-do(Namhae-gun)

Namhae's Geumsan, located in Gyeongsangnam-do, is the only mountain within Hallyeo National Maritime Park to have craggy ridge lines and gorgeous rocky surfaces. In December of 1974, it was designated as Gyeongsangnam-do's Natural Monument No. 18, but has since gone up to No. 39 as of May 2008. The mountain also features a trail that spans eight ridge lines that you can access from Idong-myeon Bokgok Entrance, and there is also Sangju Beach in the vicinity, which attracts many tourists.
