Jeollanam-do(Gwangyang-si)

Gwangyang Cheong Maesil Farm, located in Jeollanam-do, is a farm specializing in plum with three generation of knowledge and expertise. A field of crocks can be seen as you walk in for the entrance and every June, plums are harvested for visitors to experience making food with plums. In March, when the plum blossoms bloom, it's a perfect time for visitors to see and enjoy the scent of spring flowers.    


Jeollanam-do(Mokpo-si)

Wonjo Idong Galbi has been specializing in Idong galbi for 35 years. The restaurant is conveniently located next to E-Mart and has a large parking lot, making it a great place for group dining.


Jeollanam-do(Naju-si)

Naju Geumseonggwan Hall was a state-run guesthouse for government officials during the Joseon period. It was the venue for ceremonial praise rituals for the king, taking place on the first and 15th of each month, as well as banquets held in honor of visiting dignitaries. The building was constructed sometime between 1475 and 1479. The building was remodeled during the Japanese occupation, but was restored to its original design in 1977. It is currently registered as Jeollanam-do Important Cultural Heritage No. 2. There are a number of other cultural heritages located in the nearby vicinity.


Jeollanam-do(Goheung-gun)

Victoria Hotel is nestled in a perfect area overlooking Balpo Beach. This makes the location perfect for getting some rest and relaxation between the beach and the forest. The crisp, clear air makes the moon seem brighter and more vivid at night. A surprising portion of guests are actually Russian scientists from the nearby Naro Space Center. Nearby attractions include the Naro Sace Center, Geumtapsa Temple, and a Bija tree (nutmeg tree) forest, all of which are worth a look.


Jeollanam-do(Mokpo-si)

Located in front of Mokpo Passenger Ferry Terminal, Cheonghae Hotjip specializes in grilled eel as well as various seafood.


Jeollanam-do(Gurye-gun)

Jeollanam-do(Damyang-gun)

Located on the opposite side of Korea Bamboo Museum, House by the Museum is a uniquely named restaurant. The main menu includes tteok-galbi (grilled short rib meat patties) which is comprised of minced lean meat, green onion, onion, bulgogi sauce and sesame oil, which makes the taste tender. As for the nutrition, it has a lot of essential fatty acid from sesame oil that complements with the beef. Another signature dish of the restaurant is Daetongbap - rice cooked in a bamboo, made with rice, millet, bean, sorghum, jujube, nuts and others. It features a healthy food with its delicate fragrance. In addition, more than 10 side dishes along with Daetongbap such as Tohajeot (salt-fermented toha shrimp), juksun-deulkkae-muchim (seasoned vegetables with perilla seeds and bamboo shoot), gejang-muchim (marinated crab), beoseot-bokkeum (fried mushroom), mul-kimchi, dwaejigogi-gochujang-bokkeum (stir-fried spicy pork), sangchu-ssam (wrapped in lettuce), and others. After a meal, bamboo blade tea of a clean taste is offered as a dessert.

Ttangkkeut Sunset Sunrise Festival will take place at Ttangkkuet Village in Songji-myeon, Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do. The festival includes a sunset and sunrise ceremony, and ttangkkeut music concert. The festival is famous for the unique view of the sunrise through a crack between the rocks of Hyeongjebawi next to Galduhang Port.
