Gunsan Airport
Jeollabuk-do(Gunsan-si)

Gunsan Airport is located in Okseo-myeon, Gunsan. The airport opened in August 1970 as a U.S. Military airfield and become a busy destination connecting Seoul and Gunsan, along with the industrial development of Korea. The flights were suspended to save oil when the oil crisis hit the nation in March 1974. The airport was reopened in 1992 in a single-story government building, serving 440,000 passengers per year. It has a parking lot that can accommodate 330 cars.

Arirang Literature Museum
Jeollabuk-do(Gimje-si)

Located in Gimje-si, Jeollabuk-do, Arirang Literature Museum (Jo Jung-rae Arirang Literature Museum) was opened in May, 2003. The museum displays materials related to Jo Jung-rae’s novel, ‘Arirang,’ which shows the history of Gimje. His handwritten manuscripts for Arirang are displayed on the first floor, and the author's notes, a pocket notebook, and daily items are on display in Exhibition Hall No. 2. In addition, No. 3 Exhibition Hall shows Jo Jung-rae's humanity. The memorial stone of Arirang Literature is located in Byeokgolje.

The 3-day festival is held across the beautiful city of Wanju, a city where you can experience cheonryeop (fishing by hand) and the gorgeous Korean wilderness. The festival also provides environmentally-friendly food experiences using local agricultural products, along with various wild plants and animals from Wanju. This festival aims to give visitors a feeling of sentiment for food from the past through partaking in the diverse experiential food programs surrounded by the beautiful natural environment.
