Gyeonggi-do(Yongin-si)

The Hanteo Pony Farm (한터조랑말농장) is a farm where visitors experience farm aspects of farm life, and can even plant crops, touch and ride the animals, and feel the soil, thereby realizing how precious nature is. During weekdays the farm hosts learning activities specifically for groups of children from kindergartens and elementary schools. During weekends it is a popular destination for families to come and enjoy farm life.

Anyang Water Land (안양워터랜드), using pristine waters from the deep valleys of Gwanaksan and Samseongsan Mountains, is a composite theme park open in all four seasons with state-of-the-art pools, water-slides, facilities, and services.


Gyeonggi-do(Gapyeong-gun) , Namyangju

The Garden of Morning Calm is one of Korea's major botanical gardens, attracting about 700,000 tourists from home and abroad annually. The garden aims to promote the beauty of Korean flowers and plants to the world. They also play a huge role in developing Korea's garden culture.Every year during the Garden of Morning Calm's Spring Festival, the garden is covered with a rich tapestry of color from the thousands of flowers and trees in full bloom. From the promenade surrounded by a refreshing pine grove, to the 330,000-square-meter flower garden, the entire arboretum overflows with nature’s beauty and grace. In addition, the garden  holds a range of exhibitions, cultural events and educational programs during the festival.


Gyeonggi-do(Icheon-si)

Seolbong Park is a pleasant resting area that includes a walking path around a wide lake in the middle of the park, a traditional garden and a traditional palanquin. Visitors can take part in caramic making programs at a reasonable price with a professional instructor at the Ceramic Experience Hall which is located near the World Ceramic Center.


Gyeonggi-do(Gwangmyeong-si)

Gwangmyeong Market can trace its origins back to the early 1970s as a small five-day market, meaning it opened once every five days. Now with more than 350 stalls and stores, Gwangmyeong Market is the most famous of Gyeonggi-do’s 3 major traditional markets. Through large scale remodeling, the market has become a pleasant and convenient place to shop, not unlike more modern grocery stores.


Gyeonggi-do(Icheon-si) , Icheon

Spa Plus is located in Icheon City, Gyeonggi-do Province, which has been a famous hot springs region for over 500 years. It has been said that Spa Plus’ hot spring waters have healing components that are effective in treating eye diseases and skin troubles. Spa Plus presents a variety of jjimjilbang themed areas to enjoy along with an outdoor area where you can relax in the warm hot spring waters.First opened in December of 2002, Spa Plus is a hot springs facility located inside the Hotel Miranda, which is the largest 2nd class hotel of the Icheon area. The main spa complex is located on the 10th floor and the annex on the 3rd floor. 


Gyeonggi-do(Yangju-si)

The Songchu Resort (송추유원지) is 3km south of Songchu station and is easy to access. Consisting of 4km-long valleys, it has a swimming pool, a fishing spot and other facilities. Seasonal fruits from local farms such as strawberries, pears, peaches and grapes sate the appetites of visitors. Designated as a national park, the area is characterized by its beautiful natural scenery, undulating valleys, and a three-tiered waterfall. ※ Camping and cooking is banned in the Bukhansan National Park area.


Gyeonggi-do(Yangpyeong-gun)

Sponsored by Yangpyeong-gun Office, the Mulmalgeun Yangpyeong Icefish Festival takes place in Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do each winter. Visitors can eat warm fish cakes and roasted chestnuts at the festival. Aside from ice fishing, other traditional winter games and activities such as kite-flying, top spinning, sledding and jjinbbang-making (steamed bun with red bean filling) will be available.During lunch, tteokguk (sliced rice cake soup), bingeohoe muchim (seasoned raw smelt salad) and bingeo twigim (deep-fried smelt) are available at the Women's Society of Soomy Land. One special trait of this festival is the offer of an all-inclusive experience package. Gyeonggi-do(Yongin-si) , Yongin

A neighbourhood of cafes that has an almost European feel, people come to the Bojeong-dong Café Street for a taste of something different.The cafes boast unique interiors with diverse concepts, offering books (Eco’s Library), food, or clothing. Lush trees adorn the street, and families stroll freely up and down. Many cafes offer delicious brunches such as waffles and crepes. Café Street is an ideal place for friends, couples, and families to walk around or date. 


Gyeonggi-do(Gimpo-si)

Jangneung (장릉) is located in Gimpo, Gyeonggi-do province. This is the tomb of the posthumously designated king, King Wonjong (1580-1619), who was the father of King Injo, and of his wife, Queen Inheon (1578-1626).King Wonjong was the 5th son of King Seonjo. He had deep respect for his parents and a strong affection for his siblings. King Wonjong’s third son was exiled to Ganghwado Island under a false accusation and ended up committing suicide. King Wonjong was shocked at the tragic death of his son and died in 1619.The surroundings of the tomb have been well preserved and landscaped, so visitors can enjoy relaxing and walking in this area. Geunjeongsa Temple is located nearby.
