Pangshow is a hands-on variety performance that invites the audience to participate in the baking of bread (read as bbang in Korean). The show originates from the popular Korean TV drama “King of Baking, Kim Tak-gu” (2010), which has been televised across twelve countries in Asia. The performers and audience join hands to bake bread together while enjoying an exciting performance of drumming, B-boy dance, acrobatics, and comic acting. After the show, warm, fresh-baked “pang” will be served to the audience members.

Arts Council Korea is to host 2016 ARKO Contemporary Orchestra Music Festival for Yangak (Western music) on January 26, 2016 at 20:00 at Concert Hall of Seoul Arts Center, lead by Choi Suyeol and played by Gyeonggi Philharmonic Orchestra. ARKO Contemporary Orchestra Music Festival (a.k.a. Achangje) tries to find up-to-date art pieces reflecting Korean composer’s innovative creativity and plays a big role in creative Korean music. First performed through Achangje, the performances are again performed at other locations nationally and internationally, including European countries.These music pieces are sure to be cherished for many years by audiences. “Cook´n Heim” is a fancy restaurant where a traditional Korean-style house, beautiful garden, and a small gallery harmoniously come together. The main menu specialties are Hamburg Steak, and pasta. For Hamburg Steak, the beef is chopped and mixed without any chemical seasoning. Bread is homemade where the dough is kneaded and baked. Cook’n Heim serves no junk food, only well-being food. “Cook´n Heim’s Hamburg Steak” with mushroom cream sauce and pineapple slices as well as the “Herb Hamburg Steak” with rosemary are the most popular dishes. Pasta with cream sauce or tomato sauce and salad are also popular. The restaurant creates its own small cultural art gallery. Art pieces on exhibit are updated weekly, and visitors can enjoy the free exhibition while they are dining. When the sun sets, a movie is shown on the screen which has been installed on a wall in the garden. In the summer, it is wonderful to have dinner outside while watching a movie. TIP: The 30th customer on every Saturday receives a book as a complimentary gift.

The ingredients used for cooking of the home meals at OME Cooking Lab are bought from the Seoul Yangnyeong Market and Gyeongdong Traditional Market. It is a one-day cooking class whereby the participants will first be brought to tour the local markets mentioned to experience the local culture, interact with the vendors as they shop for the ingredients required for cooking, and later dine in a traditional style Korean house after cooking.

The Seoul Dance Festival is held in every autumn and is considered the biggest dance festival in Korea, drawing the participation of famous dancers and a range of newcomers. During the festival, there will be a variety of events for festival visitors both on and off the stage.

Various dishes are available such as Ssambapjeongshik with organic vegetables, beef shabu shabu using beef stock and fresh tender galbi (ribs) which are purchased daily.

The Giva Week (also known as Ginkgo Virus Alley Week) is to be held for the 2nd time, following last year's success. The event was originally organized and started up by the business owners of shops in the streets of the Sinsadong garosu-gil, to promote sales and make the place an attractive tourist spot. The aim is to develop hidden attractions that have recently been shaded by many franchised stores as well as make it an ideal place to shop, eat, and sight-see, as well as enjoy street performances. Many talented aritsts and shop owners will gather to hold various events and program, with amazing discounts and free gifts to be awarded. With the help of Solon Company, the Korea Tourism Organization, Visit Korea Year Committee, Tripvi Ltd., and regional offices, the event expects to draw in more attention and visitors than the previous year. Locations for events are various, being spread throughout the Sinsadong garosu-gil area, where the streets are lined in many Gingko trees. Visiting many of the charmingly decorated coffee shops, designer stores, boutique-like galleries and much more along Garosu-gil is a romantic way to enjoy the beauiful autumn foliage in Korea.
