[Event introduction] Ulsan Grand Park Light Festival started in 2016 to provide citizen more enjoyment during winter. For the past two years, more than 250,000 visitors have come to the festival with over 40% of the visitors from outside of Ulsan. This year’s festival with a title “Draw the light dream,” offering 5 different themes, will be held for 51 days from December 8, 2018 to January 27, 2019. The highlight of the festival is the 11m high star structure in front of the Rose Garden Fountain where amazing multimedia lighting show will be displayed.

Using a long abandoned railway, the Yangpyeong Rail Bike offers a unique bike ride at speeds of 15km/h from Yongmun to Wondeok. This 3.2km journey passes along a gleaming river and tree covered mountains. Decorated with wood, the interior highlights two key colors -- blue and white -- to harmonize the brand's style with the surrounding atmosphere in Garosugil. The spacious, square-shaped store consists of wall and central displays, sofas for rest, and changing rooms and sells women's and men's wear, children's clothing, and accessories including bags, accessories, hats, and shoes. Along with products from Saint James (France), the store sells imported brands like Buddy (Japan), Veja (France), Soludos (U.S.A.), Bronte (Netherlands), Padmore & Barnes (Ireland), and Infielder Design (Japan). The single-story store comes with an entrance and an exit on both sides, making it easy and convenient for shopping even during busy hours. The brand started in 1889 at a French village near Mount Saint-Michel in Normandy. In the early days, the store specialized in sailor’s outfits — or the “marine look” — and gradually expanded as the French look gained popularity around the world.

Located on Namiseom Island in Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do, Imagine Nami is a store specializing in handmade crafts. Talented craftsmen based on Namiseom Island began producing works, and Imagine Nami became the place for selling their works, including various accessories made of leather and natural stones, glass crafts, fabric products, paintings, and other design works. Most artifacts deal with natural themes and stories about Namiseom Island. The recent collection features various handicrafts containing the image of Snowman, the representative icon of Namiseom Island, and artifacts include tea cups, candle holders, memo holders, magnets, ceramics, and other decorative interior items. At the entrance, the store sells snacks made by Namiseom Island’s own brands; the other section displays handicrafts from Namiseom Island and other handmade artifacts made by external artists, toys, daily goods, and more.
