Hotel Commodore is modeled after the royal residence of the king during the Joseon Dynasty. Each floor is decorated with colorful works of art and the walls are embossed with traditional Korean designs and pictures. The floors and ceilings are decorated with lotus blossom patterns and the handrails are impressively crafted into the shape of dragons. The crescent-shaped structure gives guests a majestic view of the Busan Port and the ocean.

Korean Martyrs' Museum (한국천주교순교자박물관)

Korean Martyrs’ Museum was opened in October of 1967 as Jeoldusan Martyrs' Shrine, in memory of the Catholic martyrs who lost their lives during the Byeongin Persecution of 1866. The name of the museum changed to the current Korean Martyrs' Museum in August of 2008. The museum displays artifacts and materials in exhibitions related to the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Korea.

Following his mother’s footsteps, the son of the previous owner is now managing the family business. Opened during the early years of Jokbal Street, the delicious meat at this restaurant is fondly remembered by customers. While the meat itself has almost no fat, the fat portion is extremely soft and savory. This restaurant is also different from the others in that it provides kongnamul-guk (bean sprout soup) with the jokbal (steamed pork hock). Pyeongyang-style naengmyeon (cold noodles) and tteok-mandu-guk (rice cake-dumpling soup) are also delicious. Pyeongyang naengmyeon is cooked to suit South Korean tastebuds. Besides, the noodles and dumplings are hand-made. Despite the restaurants long history, the building of the restaurant is clean and well-maintained as it was being rebuilt after a fire in the 1980s. There are plenty of tables on the first and second floors to accommodate customers, and the third floor is reserved for large groups. Aqua Planet, which is run by the Hanhwa Hotels and Resorts group, has several branches located throughout Korea. However, one particular program that is only found at the Jeju branch is "Haenyeo's Achim," which directly translates into 'the diving women's morning' in English. In this program, visitors are able to witness how Jeju haenyeo (female divers) catch various shellfish, seaweeds and more items underwater.

Jumunjin Seafood Market was founded in 1936 and is situated in Gangneung next to Jumunjin Port, home to a large fleet of squid boats. It is the largest seafood market on the East Coast and includes a dried seafood market and a sashimi center. The market is a favorite among both Koreans and international visitors. Market specialties include a variety of fresh seafood caught on the East Coast such as squid, mackerel, pollacks, pikes, and crabs. At the market, visitors can purchase these items (and a number of dried seafood products) at inexpensive prices, as well as get a taste of fresh, delicious sashimi. In addition, the market hosts a variety of fun events such as the Blowfish Festival and Squid Festival.
