Seoul(Gangseo-gu) , The Western Part of the Seoul

Bongraeheon serves savory royal Korean dishes in a great natural environment. It was designated a Proud Korean Restaurant in 2007 by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. It is located in a traditional Korean building built by Lee Il-gu, a master carpenter and Human Cultural Property who participated in the restoration of Gyeongbokgung Palace. With high ceilings, the whole building has a soothing smell of pine. It’s a popular place for business dining as well as the first meeting between the parents of soon-to-be bride and groom. The restaurant specializes in course meals including gujeolpan, geonoljeolpan, sinseonno, jeonbokcho, hanbang kkorijjim, and stone baked mushrooms.


Seoul(Jongno-gu) , Insadong・Jongnon

1m Classic Art Hall, located in Daehang-ro is a classic art experience center exclusively for children. The center provides children with the opportunity to enjoy classical music in a fun and interesting way. In the ‘1m Experience Classic’ program (the oldest children’s classical program in the nation), teachers not only provide interesting mini-music learns, but also assist children in trying out a variety of instruments.At the performance halls at the 1m Classic Art Hall, the stage is just 1m away from the surrounding seats, giving young audience members a more intimate musical experience.


Busan(Haeundae-gu) , Haeundae

Located in Haeundae, Busan, Koryujung (고려정) is a Korean restaurant with 15 years of tradition. The restaurant serves traditional hanjeongsik (Korean course meal) and shabu-shabu (paper-thin slices of meat and vegetables cooked in a pot of hot broth) in an antique, elegant ambience. Four types of course meals (Emperor’s table, Jin, Sun, Mi) are offered, each consisting of 7-8 appetizers followed by 7-8 warm dishes such as galbi (grilled beef ribs), fish, and a mushroom platter. Separate dining rooms of various sizes are available for private gatherings.


Seoul(Jongno-gu) , Insadong・Jongnon

The Cheongju Korean Craft Museum displays and sells Korean crafts by artists in Cheongju. It is home to over 100 different kinds of crafts including crafts related to Jikji (the oldest remaining book in the world using the metal printing method). Customers are exposed to rich informaton on Jikji and the International Craft Biennale. Main products include neckties (using metal printing), pottery, textile crafts, jewelry, and products using Korean traditional patterns and handwritings. 


Seoul(Jongno-gu) , Insadong・Jongnon

Opened in March 2003, the Fine Art Gallery Art Link is a gallery that displays art pieces while creating an opportunity for patrons to meet the art and artists. Busan(Jung-gu) , Nampo-dong(Jagalchi Market)

Over 30 stores in Jagalchi Market are devoted to selling sea eels renowned for boosting stamina. They offer live sea eels, frozen sea eels, and refrigerated sea eels along with processed food such as marinated sea eels and sea eels fish cakes.


Seoul(Seongbuk-gu)

The Choi Sunu House is the old residence of Hyegok Choi Sunu (1916-1984), who lived in this house from 1976 until the day he passed away. The house is designated as Korea’s Registered Cultural Property No. 268. Choi Sunu was a leading art historian who served as the director of the National Museum of Korea. He devoted his life to rediscovering the beauty of Korean art and made many academic accomplishments in the areas of Korean ceramics, traditional woodcraft, and the history of painting.The Choi Sunu House is an open-rectangular planned hanok (Korean traditional house) composed of an L-shaped outbuilding and an upside down L-shaped main building that face each other. It shows the typical urban traditional style house that was prevalent in the Seoul area in the 1930s. The house has been open to the public as the Hyegok Choi Sunu Memorial Hall since 2004. The memorial hall displays Choi Sunu’s relics as a permanent exhibition and holds special exhibitions in the fall as well as cultural programs every spring and fall.


Seoul(Jung-gu) , Insadong・Jongnon

Yonggeumok's specialized stew includes tofu, fried tofu, spring onion, onion, oyster mushroom, tree ear mushroom, and other condiments added to broth boiled with lamb and its intestines overnight. Pre-cooked loaches are added in the end, creating a spicy yet savory flavor with chewy texture (loaches can be ground upon request). The restaurant serves Gyeongsang-do style, Jeolla-do style and Seoul-style chueo tang (loach stew).    


Seoul(Seongbuk-gu)

Located in the forest, with the fresh air blowing from the popular course on the Bugak Mountain Skyway, Bearhouse prides itself in 30 odd years of traditional, Western-style steak and seafood. As the nation's oldest restaurant, Bearhouse offers a beautiful view of the Bugak Mountain Skyway and refreshing clean air. Though the restaurant may be a little hard to find, all guests are rewarded with a delicious meal when they visit.


Incheon(Nam-gu)

Spasis uses mineral water pumped from 456 m below ground. The water is cleaned daily and improves skin health with a pH level of 6.3~7 and a temperature ranging from 20 to 40 ℃. Spasis offers a multitude of sauna rooms, featuring rocks from Jeju, Himalayan salt, and Germanium-infused yellow soil. The fifth floor in particular is popular, with an open play area. The sauna also has a restaurant serving chicken and beer.
