Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , Former Jeju

Yongyeon is where the saltwater and freshwater meet. The legend goes that an envoy was sent to the pond frequently by the Dragon King. The pond is flanked on both sides by eight rock walls that look like folding screens. Also called as Yongyeon Yabeom, the pond is one of the twelve best scenic sites in Yeongju. Yongyeon Yabeom refers to the beautiful sight that is created when the full moon is reflected on the clear waters of the rocky cliffs. Hence, many people come to visit the pond at night for the beautiful night scenery. 


Seoul(Seongbuk-gu)

Located in the forest, with the fresh air blowing from the popular course on the Bugak Mountain Skyway, Bearhouse prides itself in 30 odd years of traditional, Western-style steak and seafood. As the nation's oldest restaurant, Bearhouse offers a beautiful view of the Bugak Mountain Skyway and refreshing clean air. Though the restaurant may be a little hard to find, all guests are rewarded with a delicious meal when they visit.

Gyeonggi-do(Suwon-si) , suwon

Janganmun Gate is the northern gate of Hwaseong Fortress and also serves as the main entrance. "Jangan" means capital, and Hwaseong Fortress carries the meaning of being a secondary capital. Janganmun Gate is considered the main gate because this is the direction that the king would come from when arriving from Hanyang, the capital city, now modern-day Seoul. It is interesting to note that this gate is larger than Sungryemun Gate in Seoul.


Gyeonggi-do(Suwon-si) , suwon

About 200 tombs are located at Dongu Bullo dong hillock near Geumho River. Dongu Bullo-dong tombs have been appointed as a historical site numbers 262, which was formed during the period of Three States. It is also known for its mass burial site of all those who settled and controlled this region during ancient times.


Seoul(Jongno-gu) , Insadong・Jongnon

The Cheongju Korean Craft Museum displays and sells Korean crafts by artists in Cheongju. It is home to over 100 different kinds of crafts including crafts related to Jikji (the oldest remaining book in the world using the metal printing method). Customers are exposed to rich informaton on Jikji and the International Craft Biennale. Main products include neckties (using metal printing), pottery, textile crafts, jewelry, and products using Korean traditional patterns and handwritings. 


Seoul(Dongdaemun-gu) , Dongdaemun
