Daemyung Resort - Gyeongju

Daemyung Resort Gyeongju is the fifth Daemyung Resort location in Korea. The Gyeongju location has a total of 417 guestrooms divided into two categories: Royal Suites (51 pyeong each) and Family Suites (42 pyeong each). In addition to being located in the historical city of Gyeongju, the resort has extensive facilities, the most impressive of which is Aqua World. Aqua World is an indoor and outdoor water facility that combines spa systems and treatments with water park amusements (such as an aqua play zone and wave pool). Other amenities at Daemyung Resort Gyeongju include a cafeteria, arcade, Korean restaurant, 500-seat wedding hall, and reception hall perfect for parties and company workshops.

Suseong Resort
Daegu(Suseong-gu)

Suseong Resort is located at the foot of the northwest side of Yongjibong Peak (629m) in Beommul-dong and offers outstanding scenery including gentle mountains along with Suseong Pond. The resort is centered around Suseong Pond, established in 1925 with 70,000 pondage in a circumfrence of 2,020m. The total area of the park is 218,000 ㎡. Suseong pond is an artificial pond created in 1925 during Japanese colonial era to supply water for agriculture to rural areas. These days, it is no longer used for agricultural purposes, but has turned into a resting area. Nearby the pond is Suseong Land which houses benches, trees, cruise boarding dock, biking, bumper car, merry-go round and other entertainment facilities. Also, visitors can enjoy a duck-boat, Dusan waterfalls and other exciting places perfect for excursion. Built in September 2007, the music fountain operates from May to October four times a day during the week.

Woonsan (Formerly Yongsusan) - Gwanghwamun Branch (운산(광화문점))

Woonsan (Formerly, Yongsusan) is a traditional Korean restaurant located in the basement of the Seoul Finance Center. For the past 30 years, the restaurant has been serving up Gaeseong-style (Old capital of Goryeo Dynasty), which is said to be experienced using each of the five senses. Though the restaurant offers a variety of traditional course meals, the best-selling course is Haewon Jeongsik. This special set meal typically starts with porridge for soothing the stomach and then moves on to more substantial dishes like Kimchi, mung bean jelly, vegetable dishes, pork, beef, jeon (Korean-style pancakes), Gujeolpan (a platter of nine delicacies), Tteokgalbi (grilled short rib meat patties), rice steamed in bamboo, and desserts. Private rooms are also available in various sizes for business meetings or special family gatherings.

Bullo-dong Ancient Tomb Park

Jeonju Hanok Rail Bike

Seoul Former Russian Legation

The Russian Legation was built in a Renaissance style in 1890. Russian architect, A. J. Scredin Sabatine designed the structure. In 1895, during the Joseon Dynasty, the Eulmisabyeon Incident took place as a show of force by the Japanese.Empress Myeongseong-hwanghu was emerging as a strong figure in Korea at a time when a power struggle between Japan, China, Russia, and other powers were taking place. Japanese Minister, Miura Goro saw her as a threat and ordered her assassination. After hearing news of the Empress’s assassination, King Gojong and the Crown Prince sought refuge in the Russian Embassy for one year.After 1945, the Soviet Union took over the embassy until it was almost completely destroyed by a fire during the Korean War [1950~1953]. The only remaining parts of the building are the tower and basement areas. The building was restored to its current condition in 1973 and is now enjoyed by many as a public park.

Ihwa Mural Village
