The 2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon stands as one of Korea’s most iconic year-end music celebrations, bringing together many of the nation’s most influential K-POP performers for a single, large-scale production. Held annually since its inception, the program functions as a grand wrap-up of the musical achievements, trends, and memorable performances that defined the year. Each edition incorporates elaborate stagecraft, signature live numbers, and special sequences created exclusively for the event, offering audiences a wide-ranging view of Korea’s contemporary music scene. The 2025 edition will once again deliver a fully produced broadcast featuring carefully curated stages, collaborative performances that rarely occur outside major festivals, and original concepts designed specifically for the year-end finale. The production typically blends live audio arrangements, immersive visual displays, and high-definition broadcast technology to create a cohesive and elevated viewing experience. As with previous years, the event will position K-POP’s leading acts at the center of a meticulously directed live show that reflects the cultural and artistic spirit of the year. Lee Joong Seop Gallery

Artist Lee Jung Seop is known for his paintings, reminicent of Fauvism, including one called “Bull.” During the Korean War, he spent a year in as a war refugee Seogwipo with his Japanese wife and two sons in a small leased house, wherre he produced his masterpieces.Although the stay was temporary it was one of the happiest times for him and certainly, the most productive. Recognizing his importance, Seogwipo City purchased the house, restored it to its original form and also created the Lee Joong Seop Memorial Hall. The street in front of his house, which he walked day and night, was renamed Lee Joong Seop Street. Lee Joong Seop Gallery is just behind the restored house. The gallery houses over 8 masterpieces by Lee Joong Seop and 52 works by modern Korean painters that were donated to Seogwipo City by Lee Ho-jae (CEO of Gana Art). Lee Joong Seop Art Festival is held every September along with seminars on him. Special Exhibition Hall is available for leasing.
