Gomso Salt Field
Jeollabuk-do(Buan-gun)

Located in Gomso-ri, Jinseo-myeon in Buan-gun County, the Gomso Salt Field is one of the few salterns in Korea that produces Cheonilyeom solar salt. Unlike other salterns, Gomso is not located by the ocean, but is situated along Gomsoman Bay, adjacent to the sea.During the Joseon Dynasty, salt fields covered the area from Julpoman Bay to Gomsoman Bay, producing salt that was sent along with rice to Noryangjin from Geonmopo (Gujin). Aside from its long history, the salt of Gomso is also known for containing 10 times more minerals than any other salt.The coast from Chaeseokgang Cliffs to Gochang, which includes Gomso Salt Field, features one of the world’s most well-developed wetlands. With some luck, visitors can even see people at work at the saltern. When the weather is hot in the summer, work is done mostly in the early morning.

The Cheoksan Spa recreation village located in Cheoksan Spa Area, Sokcho-si, Gangwon-do is in between a famous mountain, Seoraksan and blue East Sea; it is a Seoraksan National Park’s spa resort that operates hot spring pools flowing out 53℃ hot spring water from 4000m underground. Aram Nuri means "a grand and beautiful world" in Korean. Built with a vision to accomplish Renaissance in culture and art, Goyang Aram Nuri Arts Center houses four theaters, an art gallery and several other facilities. The Aram Opera House is a four-story, horseshoe-shaped auditorium that holds 1,887 seats. Aram Concert Hall a rectangular hall that holds 1,449 seats. Saerasae Digital Theater is an experimental theater that allows free arrangement of 16 section floor panels that hold up to 300 seats. Norumok Outdoor Theater is an outdoor arena that can hold about 1,000 seats. Aram Art Gallery is an exhibition site with movable partitions. Aram Library manages special data and provides information on arts and culture. Aram Village, located at the entrance of the center, houses family restaurants and cafes. Aram Sun Plaza, home to four streets named Light, Water, Earth and Wind, is open to the general public.

This bakery opened in 1989 as “Samik Bakery (삼익제과),” and later changed its name to OPS in 1994. As the main branch of OPS, the Namcheondong branch has been serving fresh and 100% handmade bakery products for the past 24 years. Drinks and beverages on the menu include fresh fruit juice and chocolat chaud (hot chocolate), as well as other seasonal specialties including patbingsu (red-bean sherbet) and zenzai (red bean soup).

Sinjeongho Tourist Park

Sinjeongho Tourist Park was created in 1993 on land spanning 272,000 square meters in the Bangchuk-dong area of Asan City. The park has various attractions including a grass plaza, bird garden, wildflower park, sculpture park, youth facilities, and 8.45 meter-high statue of Admiral Lee Sun-shin. The ecological park at the tourist park entrance is home to a variety of plants such as pine trees and azalea flowers, while the sculpture park attracts visitors in the winter with a large ice sculpture 8 meters wide and 3 meters high. Sinjeongho Lake, located in front of the tourist park, is a popular fishing spot throughout the year and visitors can enjoy a leisurely ride on motor boats or pleasure boats.

Pyoseon Haevich Beach
Jeju-do(Seogwipo-si) , Seogwipo

Seogwipo City's Pyoseon Beach is quite a large beach, taking up more than 150,000 m². During low tide, the beach looks like an elegant circle, and it becomes a circular lake less than 1 meter deep during high tide, and displays many different colors. The beach is a great place for children to play and for watching the sunrise. The sand on the beach is formed out of broken shells, and sand baths are believed to be effective for people suffering from neuralgia. Every August, this beautiful beach hosts the Pyoseon White Sand Festival, which offers fun and colorful events. The beach is equipped with excellent amenities (a campground, abundant parking space, dressing rooms and shower rooms) and surrounded by nearby attractions, such as Seongeup Folk Village and Jeju Folk Village Museum.

Goransa Temple
Chungcheongnam-do(Buyeo-gun)

Goransa Temple is located at the foot of Baengmagang River, surrounded by the cliffs of Nakhwaam. The temple is assumed to have been built toward the end of the Baekje Kingdom. Although there is no historical record of the temple, it has been said it was used as a resting spot for kings of the Baekje Kingdom.There is a well-named Goranjeong behind the temple, with Gorancho (Crypsinus hastatus) growing between the rocks above the well. The kings of Baekje used to drink water from Goranjeong at least once a day, and the servants who brought the water floated the leaves of Gorancho plant as sign that it came from that well.Visitors to the temple should also take some time to enjoy the beautiful views of Baengmagang River. A ferry ride along the river also offers splendid views.
