Suanbo Daerim Hotel is located within the Suanbo Spa Complex and is said to supply the best quality hot spring water in Korea. The hotel is approximately 2 hours from Seoul and is the closest hotel to the hot spring water supply tank in Suanbo. The hot spring sauna has a jjimjilbang (hot compress room) of yellow sand and an outdoor cooking area.

Gyeongsangnam-do(Geoje-si)

The Baek Man Seok Restaurant (Prisoner-of-war Camp Branch) is a restaurant, specialized in sea squirt bibimbap for 35 years of tradition. When ordered, the rice comes in a separate bowl where you can mix in frozen sea squirts, seaweed, sesame salt powder, and sesame oil. Simply put the rice into the bowl to mix. The bibimbap may be a little bitter at first due to the sea squirt, but it soon becomes sweet as the fragrance of the sea squirts begins to fill the mouth. It is located next to the parking lot of Geoje prisoner-of-war camp and near Geoje City Hall.    


Chungcheongnam-do(Taean-gun)

Located on Sinduri Beach (Taean), Sinduri Coastal Sand Dune is the only sand dune in Korea and one of Eight Tourist Attractions in Taean. It was believed to have been formed approximately 15,000 years ago after the ice age when strong winds gradually carried sand from the sea to the current area. Sinduri Coastal Sand Dune offers unique topographies such as wind marks often seen in deserts. In addition, it is home to rich plants and animals: the largest sweetbrier habitat in Korea, rare plants (kouhoumuki, Argusia sibirica, and littoralis), and animals such as Eremias argus, Eurasian skylarks, and narrow-mouthed frogs. Sinduri Coastal Sand Dune was selected as an ecological tourist attraction by the government.
