Chungcheongbuk-do(Chungju-si)

Sansuyu Village is like a messenger of spring, with its beautiful yellow sansuyu flower (cornus) in full bloom, and springtime picnickers coming in droves to Jirisan Mountain to capture this beautiful moment. In the summer, Surak Falls shows off its color. In the fall, Sansuyu feature delicious berries. And in winter, it boasts amazing views of snow-covered Manbokdae Peak, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. Also, Sansuyu Village offers a couple of good exercise spots located near at Jirisan Mountain called Dullegil Road, which includes old trekking trails and an old walking trail called Daedongyeojido. Through exploring Jirisan Mountain's hiking trails and taking a dip in its hot spring, you can rejuvenate your spirit and overall wellness.


Chungcheongnam-do(Buyeo-gun)

Sabi, current day Buyeo, was declared as a capital city of Baekje by the King Seong (r. 523-554), the 26th ruler of Baekjae. Since then, Sabi remained as the center of cultural abundance for 123 years, and currently holds the most historical artifacts and remains from the Baekje period, including the 52 designated national cultural assets, 3 registered cultural assets, and 57 cultural assets designated by the province. The Sabi Hertiage Night tour takes visitors on a journey of time through UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Gwanbuk-ri Relics and Busosanseong Fortress of Buyeo, Jeongnimsaji Temple Site, Buyeo Neungsan-ri Ancient Tombs, Buyeo Naseong Fortress, etc.


Jeollabuk-do(Muju-gun)

The World Taekwondo Culture Expo takes place in Taekwondo's foundational city: Muju in Jeollabuk-do. Every year, about 2,000 athletes from 31 different countries participate in various seminars and competitions at the six-day expo. International athletes will also have a chance to learn about the culture of Jeollabuk-do and Korea through touring the host cities. Registration is required for participation in the expo.

Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival (SICAF) is one of major animated film festivals in the nation. It is held throughout Seoul Square, Myeong-dong Station area, and Seoul Animation. The festival introduces various exhibitions by reinterpreting and rediscovering animation and comics through various exhibitions, animation movie festivals and other various events.

The beach from Jujeon to Gangdong is a big tourist destination in Ulsan. A small fishing village and gently rolling mountains rest in the back drop of this black pebble beach, one of the few in all of Korea. At night, the lights of fishing boats make quite a scene as they reflect against the water. This is a great area to dine on fresh seafood.


Jeollanam-do(Gangjin-gun)

Dasan Chodang is the house where Jeong Yak-yong (pen-name Dasan, 1762-1836) lived during his exile. He was a scholar of the late Joseon Dynasty and is noted for his great contributions to the development of practical learning in Korea. After he was expelled to Ganjin for writing a secret letter of appeal for religious freedom, which later was named ‘the Hwang Sa-yeong Baekseo’, he lived in the house for 18 years while studying practical learning (‘Silhak’ in Korean). Most of his renowned books were written in Dasan Chodang. While walking along a road near Dasan Chodang, you can see the Cheonilgak pavilion, which offers a great view of beautiful Gangjin Bay. Not far from Dasan Chodang is the Dasan Museum, where visitors can learn about the life of Dasan.


Jeju-do(Seogwipo-si)

Chungcheongnam-do(Gongju-si)

Archaeological Site in Seokjang-ri, Gongju is located approximately 6km out of the city of Gongju, on the northern banks of the Geumgang River. The site is one of Korea's representative relic sites of the Old Stone Age, and is designated Historic Site No. 334. The site was excavated 10 times between 1964 and 1974 by teams from Yonsei University Museum. The excavation of 27 layers of stratum produced relics proving people lived in the area through 11 cultural eras. The area was excavated again in 1990 and 1993, producing even more cultural artifacts and helping to create a clearer image of the people living in that time.
