Bomun Golf Club has spectacular scenery and as it is situated within the Bomun Tourist Complex, which is a international recreation area situated in Gyeongju. Boating, yachting, and wind surfing can be enjoyed at Bomun Lake.

Pyeongchang Cirsium Setidens Festival is held every year in May in Sanchae Village, Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do Province. Visitors can pick their own cirsium setidents along with other wild greens on nearby mountains and try various kinds of food made from wild greens at the festival venue. Other hands-on programs include making rice cakes and catching trout or marsh snails.

The Wando Fishery and Folklore Museum, opened in May 2002 as the nation’s first fishing village museum, showcases the lifestyle of fishing villages and families, fishing know-how, facts about aquaculture, timeline of vessel developments, etc. The museum was built for people to also learn about marine folklore, and as an addition to Wando's tourist attractions.
