Chungcheongbuk-do(Eumseong-gun)

Maegoe Museum is located on the grounds of Gamgok Maegoe Virgin Mary Catholic Cathedral and showcases the Catholic history of the area over a span of more than 100 years. The museum displays items important to the early Church in Korea, as well as items used by the first priest. The museum serves as a complete education center for visitors to Gamgok Maegoe Virgin Mary Catholic Cathedral.


Gangwon-do(Pyeongchang-gun)

Dutasan Recreational Forest is located at the foot of Dutasan Mountain that is part of Bakjisan Mt., which rises 1,394m above the sea level and straddles the border between Jinbu-myeon of Pyeongchang-gun and Jeongseon-gun. The recreational forest is a hub of leisure activity and boasts robust and rich forests filled with a wide variety of animals (badgers, raccoons, bores, hares, etc.), abundant medicinal herbs, and trees such as a huge birch, nut trees and lime trees. Amenities and accommodations include the Forest Culture Rest Center, House of Forest, and various trekking courses and campsites. Nearby attractions are Odaesan National Park, Yi Hyo-Seok Literary House, Daegwallyeong Ranch, Bongpyeong Herb World, and Woljeongsa Temple. At some of these sites, you can try leisure activities such as rafting (Odeacheon Stream) and skiing (Yongpyeong Ski Resort).


Gyeonggi-do(Yangpyeong-gun) , Yangpyeong

Situated in Yangpyeong (Gyeonggi-do) and surrounded by beautiful nature, House of Mind, built by the renowned architect, Min Gyu-am, is a unique pension house using concrete blocks. Named after flowers, houses are organized in such a way as to secure isolation while still connected to each other; each house is equipped with its own garden. Six houses are divided into two sections. The first section consists of three houses (Mint, Rosemary, and Lavender); the newly built second section offers three houses (Chamomile, Jasmine, and Thyme), a restaurant, and a seminar room. Each house offers distinct architectural styles and interior designs with a loft structure. There are also barbecue grills outside. Outdoor hot tubs are available only for visitors staying in Rosemary, Jasmine, and Chamomile. House of Mind is ideal for group gatherings (workshops or seminars), family visits, and romantic getaways. It has become popular as it has frequently appeared in magazines, commercials, and Korean dramas such as IRIS; it is also close to Vivaldi Park Ocean World in Daemyung Resort.  


Gyeonggi-do(Yongin-si) , Yongin

Sejoong Museum consists of 14 exhibition chambers (1 indoor and 13 outdoor exhibition venues) and over 10,000 stone sculptures excavated from across the nation.Main types of statues include: stone Mun/Muin Seok (generals/scholars) that guard the spirits of the deceased at the graveyard; the comical Seoksu, which protect the King’s tomb; Jangseung & Beoksu, guardian spirits that prevent evil spirits and enemies from invading the village; Sotdae that are tall enough to look out for the safety of a village; Mangbuseok (faithful wife stone), a legendary faithful wife who became a stone after waiting and waiting for her never-returning husband; Dongjaseok, a cute child monk that grabs the eyes of passersby; Dol Hareubang, a symbolic stone sculpture of Jeju Island; and Hyojaseok, which commemorates a filial son.Other pieces include Buddhist relics such as stone pagodas and lamps, a horse-pulled millstone, well stones, stone pots, and other daily items used by Koreans from ancient times.


Seoul(Dongdaemun-gu) , Dongdaemun

It is a 100-year-old store that has been loved by customers for a long time while maintaining its reputation for over 30 years. The best menu at this restaurant is buckwheat noodles. This Korean dishes restaurant is located in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.


Jeollanam-do(Suncheon-si)

The Suncheon Citizen's Day Event is held at the grass plaza inside the Garden Expo venue. The event is held to celebrate the success of the Suncheon Bay International Garden Expo and to thank the residents of Suncheon-si for their support. Booths are set up at the plaza so visitors can enjoy the programs such as the singing contest, concerts, yutnori (Korean traditional board game), arm wrestling, jegichagi (Korean hacky sack), and tuho (arrow throwing). Visitors can also enjoy the various perfomances from participating artist groups, gukak (Korean traditional music) orchestra, and nongak (traditional Korean music performed by farmers) bands from the different municipalities.


Chungcheongnam-do(Dangjin-si)

Kohwun Garden opened on April 28, 2003, following the collection, planting, and cultivation of a wide range of plants and trees. The garden is about 200,000㎡, and the half of the area is used for educational purposes. It is home to at least 15 rare or endangered plant species including Miseonnamu (Abeliophyllum distichum Nakai) and Euryale ferox Salisbury, in addition to nearly 4,500 species of plant genetic resources. The garden also runs education programs and hands-on activities for professionals and non-professionals alike.


Jeollanam-do(Damyang-gun)

Damyang Resort, featuring a theme of “Harmony between man and nature,” is situated on a 165,000㎡ large field surrounded by beautiful sceneries of Chuwolsan Mountain and Damyangho Lake. Jeollanam-do(Yeosu-si)

Yeosu Airport is the gateway to Yeosu city and the eastern part of Jeollanam-do Province. The airport opened in 1972 when Korean Air (KAL) launched a new air route between Seoul and Yeosu, and the route between Yeosu and Jeju was added in 1977. The travel time for the Seoul-Yeosu route is 1 hour and the Jeju-Yeosu route takes 45 minutes. The airport renovated its runway in 2004 and opened a new passenger building in 2005. As Yeosu is the host city of the 2012 World Expo, the city has plans to continue expanding facilities to provide the most convenient service.
