Woljeongni Station
Gangwon-do(Cheorwon-gun)

Woljeongni Station (Iron Triangle Battlefield) is the last stop before reaching the DMZ. With the sign "The iron horse wants to run again," there stand remains of a train that was used to make frequent trips to North Korea. Located at the spot where the fiercest battle was held during the Korean War, this train marks the partition line of the Korean peninsula. These days Woljeongni Station is under the control of the Cheorwon-gun Office and hundreds of thousands of people visit this unique tourist area every year.

Songam Art Museum
Incheon(Nam-gu)

With a scenic view overlooking the West Sea, Songam Art Museum is a French-style building located along the coastal road at the foot of Cheongryangsan Mountain in Incheon. The gallery was built to house a private collection of antiques collected by the late Chairman Lee Hoerim. The gallery, together with all its relics and real-estate, was later donated to Incheon Metropolitan City and introduced as Songam Art Museum. Even before being donated, the gallery has been making contributions to the progress of research regarding the art and culture of Korea and China by displaying both Korean and Chinese antiques related to Korean culture. After its renovation and conversion into a museum, Songam Art Museum added a repository of Korean paintings and ceramic wares. Through continuous investment and research work, the museum is now a cultural space well-appreciated by citizens and tourists alike.

Pasaseong Fortress Site

The stone walls of Pasasan Fortress stretch along the ridge of the 250-meter-high Pasasan Mountain. The fortress is strategically situated for national defense by being located at the edge of the river bank, from which you can see both upstream and downstream. It is said that the fortress was constructed during the reign of the King Pasa, the 5th ruler of the Silla Kingdom. The walls stretch over 1,800 meters in length. At its highest point, the wall is 6.25 meters tall, and 1.4 meters tall at its lowest point.

Hoemunsan Recreational Forest

Hoemunsan Recreational Forest (회문산자연휴양림) is situated south of Hoemunsan Mountain (830m). Since the area boasts clean valleys and various tree forests it is a good place for people who want to enjoy their rest and take leisurely strolls. In addition, above the waterfall there is a vast cloud bridge where people can feel the thrilling forces of nature. Long time ago, Hoemunsan Mountain was used as a battleground during the Korean War (1950-1953) and still features several relics that date back to that time.   Within Hoemunsan Recreational Forest, there are promenades, sporting equipment, a headquarters’ base, and an observatory. Ttangkkut Marine Natural History Museum
