Gyeonggi-do(Paju-si) , DMZ•Panmunjeom

Camp Greaves is the returned place as of August 2007 after US Army Force withdrawal in 1997. It was a camp base for the 506th US Second Infantry Division for about 50 years after the ceasefire agreement of Korean War. An accommodation for officers, living hall, physical activity hall and several other army facilities remained intact, and are considered to be the 'Modern Cultural Heritage' cultural assets. The camp turned into a peace and security experience facility, and it is located just about 2km away from the DMZ. It is also the first youth hostel to be located within a restricted area for civilians in Paju city. An entire building of the US Army officer’s accommodation was remodeled into youth hostel and it can accommodate up to 240 guests. The hostel is comprised of an office room and a small auditorium on the first floor and rooms on the second through third floors, and a large auditorium on the fourth floor. To fulfill every need of the visitors, the camp offers diverse programs such as Security OX Quiz, making mini jangseung (totem pole), sotdae (wooden pole), camp playing activity, 'Challenge DMZ Golden Bell', and other exciting programs.


Seoul(Jongno-gu) , Seoul City Hall・Gwanghwamun

Seoul International Marathon is an international competition with 20,000 participants. The course begins at Gwanghwamun Square Sageori (four-way intersection) and runs to Jamsil Olympic Main Stadium, covering a total distance of over 42.195km. The course allows participants to run across the entire area of Seoul. At the same time, Seoul Challenge 10k will also be held so participants can choose the course that fits their ability.


Chungcheongnam-do()

Jeonui Hyanggyo Confucian School is thought to have been built in 1413 during the 13th year of King Taejong’s reign. The School features a simple spatial arrangement with only Myeongnyundang and Daeseongjeon Study Halls, each with three gates in the front. Outside the western wall of Myeongnyundang Hall is Sujiksa Temple. Several books - Jaeimnok (24cm×34cm), Seonan ( 28cm×43cm), several texts on rituals, and Eojeyuneum (22cm×35cm, 1782-1783), which was published in 1782 (6th year of King Jeongjo’s reign) and 1783, have been found at Jeonui Hyanggyo.

Ulsan Grand Park Rose Festival has been held since 2005 and will have on exhibit about 3 million roses in a rose garden (44,737㎡). In particular, premium rose species are widely planted. The festival offers various beauty of rose with diverse views like from Cupid Garden, Venus Garden, Rose Hills or themed garden. Upon entering the rose garden, visitors can see animals like 23 types with 1,333 birds and 17 types with 122 animals including monkeys and meerkats.


Jeollabuk-do(Muju-gun)

Muju Firefly Market is a traditional 5-day market, operating only on days ending in a 1 or 6. The market is the representative traditional market of Muju, with a history of over 100 years. Vendors at the market bring their fresh produce to sell in a variety of small stalls set up. Products on sale range from agricultural products to daily necessities and junk food.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Gyeongju-si)

Gyeongju East Palace Garden re-creates Korea's first zoo and botanical garden in the image of a modern Donggung Palace and Woliji Pond. The garden is comprised of botanical garden, agricultural experience facility and Bird Park. In particular, the greenhouses in the botanical garden are built with the design of traditional building from the Silla period but are made entirely of glass, providing this garden with a unique atmosphere.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Geoje-si)

Well-known for its uncontaminated, clear waters, Hallyeo Waterway flows from Odongdo island of Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do to Hansando island of Tongyeong-si, Gyeongsangnam-do and remains protected due to its inclusion in Hallyeohaesang National Park. The waterway is dotted with over 500 large and small islands and was the site of countless navel battles fought by Admiral Yi Sun-Shin during the Japanese invasions of 1592-1598.


Jeollabuk-do(Muju-gun)

During the Japanese invasion of 1592, many of the National Archives in Seoul and the surrounding area were burned down. After this, the archives were duplicated and stored in a variety of locations thoughout the county. The National Archives of Jeoksangsan Mountain was founded in 1614, when important national archives were moved from Myohyang Confucian Academy, with others being added in 1641. This national archives site served a very important role throughout over 300 years of Korea’s history, until it was closed by the Japanese during the Japanese occupation.

Badabaragi is a restaurant with an ocean view in the Buk-gu district of Ulsan, specializing in snow crabs and fresh raw fish. Only the freshest fish caught and delivered each day are served. The restaurant also operates a snow crab market, thereby offers snow crab dishes at affordable prices. A variety of side dishes made with fresh seafood accompany the main dishes. Abalone or conch porridge is available for young children who cannot eat raw fish or snow crab. A popular menu item is jjambbong mulhoe (mixed sliced raw fish with water and spicy sauce).
