The POSCO Museum, which opened in Goedong-dong, Pohang-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do on July 3, 2003, shows the history, spirit, corporate culture and vision of POSCO. This 3-story, 3,636 m² building rests on a 9,917 m² site, and the exhibition area is 1,983 m². In other advanced countries, it is common for a company to open a museum, however, the POSCO museum came in the spotlight from the master planning phase since it was a rare case in Korea. The museum was established with the aim of creating a space where the past, present and future of POSCO coexist. POSCO became one of the most competitive companies in the world in just 30 years, when the concept of steel manufacturing had not existed in the country. POSCO was able to achieve success thanks to the POSCO employees who fought against all kinds of adversities. The POSCO museum showcases such great achievements, as well as the entire history of the company, giving dreams and hopes to the youth who visit the museum.

The ARC Cultural Center, a major culture center in Korea that harmonizes the elegance of traditional Korean culture and the dynamics of nature The ARC is a cultural complex that shows everything about Korea's river culture with the theme of water, and the building itself is a piece of art that boasts a graceful design in harmony with the river. The Circle Theater, a huge theater on the first and second floor, was designed with the theme of water. Jongga Hoengseong Factory (종가집 횡성공장)

4th Seoul Kimchi Festival

In the past, kimjang(kimchi-making) day was a day for sharing love, a day for festivals and feasting. Designated as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, kimjang has gone global and kimchi has become a classic, healthy food much loved by people around the world. With the first Seoul Kimchi Festival in 2014, the much forgotten Korean sharing spirit comes alive and kimjang was created into a cultural festival that has developed into a leading global sharing festival in Seoul. Celebrating the theme ‘Happy sharing, Kimjang day,’  the 4th Seoul Kimchi Festival will offer visitors opportunities to touch, feel and taste the unique Korean kimjang culture through various programs  such as Making&Sharing Kimchi, where over 5,000 people get together to  make kimchi for the underprivileged, Seoul Kimjanggan, where participants  get to try their hands at making kimchi for our families as well  the Kimchi Market and Kimchi Imagination Playground etc.  From November 3rd (Fri) to 5th (Sun), 2017, Kimjang Day! A festival with an authentic kimjang theme to create an enjoyable kimjang culture rich in traditional value. We hope that everyone will have a magical time at Seoul Kimchi Festival. Su Noraebang - Sing and Dance Like a Star at a Noraebang (Singing Room)

Release some stress at one of Seoul’s noraebangs (singing rooms); with the freedom to belt out any song of your choice, it can make for an extremely gratifying and cathartic experience. Also, it’s just some good plain fun. How can it not be when singing and dancing along with buddies to the recent hit of the month? When finding a noraebang in Seoul, one tip is to find a place that is not necessarily the most popular spot in town. There’s a higher chance of receiving more time to sing for free. Of course, there are some unique noraebangs that are worth a visit such as “Su Noraebang,” where the inside of rooms can be seen from the street through the large glass windows. Regardless, the streets of Seoul are littered with noraebangs, and is a popular activity to do after dinner.

Gangwonjeong has been around for about 20 years, and is famous for its samgyetang (chicken ginseng soup). The flavor of the broth and tenderness of the chicken are exceptional. Chicken is stuffed with sweet rice, dates, chestnuts, ginko nuts, ginseng, and whole garlic cloves of garlic and garnished with shredded spring onions, sunflower seeds, and black sesame seeds. Kimchi makes the best accompaniment.
