Gyeongsangbuk-do(Cheongsong-gun)

Built in 1920, Chalbanggong Head House is the head house of Sim Dang (pen-name: Chalbanggong), a ninth-generation descendant of the Cheongsong Sim clan. The name Chalbang originates from a local government post (superintendent of the postal station in each province) during the Joseon Dynasty. The house is a historic building that was also used as the local schoolhouse. Its buildings were originally configured in a ‘ㅁ’ shape with an inner courtyard. However, the old thatched mill building was demolished, leaving the current layout of the house as a ‘ㄷ’ shape. It also shares a wall with the Songso Old House. The house consists of rooms with under-the floor heating (ondol), a large courtyard, and a vegetable garden. The rooms are decorated with hanji, or traditional Korean paper, and equipped with traditional Korean bedding. As it is located in the quietest part of the village, the house offers guests an opportunity to enjoy all the warmth and coziness of a hanok coupled with the warm-hearted atmosphere of the countryside.


Gangwon-do(Donghae-si)

Mangsang Auto Camping Resort is an international-standard auto camping ground near the beautiful 3km-long Mangsang Beach. The campsite boasts of environment-friendly facilities such as caravans, log cabins, and American-style cottages. Jeollanam-do(Gangjin-gun)

'Dahyang Sochuk is a traditional Korean guesthouse located near the entrance to Dasan Chodang (Dasan Jeong Yakyong Historical Site) in Gangjin-gun, Jeollanam-do. The guesthouse is like a folk museum where guests get to see the items that Korean ancestors actually used. One of the advantages of staying at Dahyang Sochuk is that you can have all the green tea you want because there are wild green tea plants growing around the building. The areas around the guesthouses are decorated with unique bonsai trees and flowers all seasons for the guests to enjoy. All the rooms are coated with red clay and furnished with naturally dyed linens, both of which are healthy for the body while very smooth to the touch and aromatic. Right before winter, an array of potted chrysanthemums is placed along the entranceway, making you forget the cold weather for a moment. All in all, it’s a great place to stay and relax amid nature.


Jeollabuk-do(Namwon-si)

'Located in Eohyeon-dong, Namwon, Jeollabuk-do, Made Motel is a 7-story building with 35 guestrooms. It's very conveniently located since it's only 10 minutes away from Chunhyang Theme Park and Gwanghalluwon Garden on foot. While most of the guests come here for the beautiful night view and relaxation, many of the guests are business travelers because there are many wind power stations nearby. For this reason, the motel has a printer and a fax machine for the business travelers. The motel has a team of cleaners to make sure that all the rooms are clean and organized at all times. There is a microwave oven and a free drip coffee machine next to the front desk so that guests who are in a hurry can have a simple snack.


Jeollabuk-do(Buan-gun)

'As a 5-story building with 29 guestrooms, Shani Motel is located a mere 7 minutes away from Buan Intercity Bus Terminal on foot. All the rooms are clean and spacious. The motel has handicap parking spaces, handicap entrance ramp, and braille blocks for both the physically challenged and the visually impaired. No pets are allowed, except for guide dogs. Jeollabuk-do(Namwon-si)

'Namwon Yechon is a 'hanok (traditional Korean house)' with 24 individual guestrooms built by the City of Namwon on a 40,000m² area. Despite being a 'traditional' Korean house, the guestrooms are designed to be comfortable like those of a hotel, since they have a bed and other necessary furnishings. The guesthouse also has guestrooms with a main floored room, which is very popular among the guests staying there in the hot summer. The Royal Suite Rooms have a separate bathroom in both the floor-heated room and room with a bed, making it possible for two families to stay in the same place. In the winter, the floor-heated rooms are heated by burning oakwood, and guests can experience how the rooms were heated in the old days in Korea. The guesthouse offers various traditional programs such as 'hanbok (traditional Korean clothes)' experience, pansori, gayageum, DIY, and traditional plays, most of which charge no participation fee. Guests are given a 'Horse Badge'(Mapae) that serves as a ticket to Gwanghalluwon Garden, Chunhyang Theme Park, and Baekdu Daegan Education Center. Drinks in the mini bar in each of the guestrooms are free.


Jeollabuk-do(Imsil-gun)

 Imsil N Cheese Festival first started to promote the most famous cheese industry in Korea with more than 50 years of history. The festival grew and offers visitors a chance to become a character from a fairy-tale by entering a European-style cheese castle and to Imsil Cheese Theme Park and Imsil Cheese Village. When the festival starts in October, more than 10 million chrysanthemums fill the festival areas. Visitors will be able to taste and purchase goods made from Imsil at a discounted price.  


Seoul() , Daehangno・Seongbukdong

Korean beef bulgogi (marinated thinly-sliced beef) and gomguksu (wheat flour noodles in a thick beef bone soup) are the most popular items here. Another popular menu item is the North Korean-style wangmandu (large dumpling). Because they serve simple main dishes and elaborate side dishes, this place is a favorite with many.  


Seoul(Gangnam-gu) , Gangnam・Samseongdong(COEX)

Nodeulgang is famous for croaker, a type of fish eaten (particularly in summer) for its energizing properties. The croaker is cured, giving the fish a nice firmness. After the croaker sashimi, a soup is served, made with the same fish. In addition to the croaker, their hongeo samhap (a combination of three ingredients: aged skate, boiled pork, and fermented kimchi) also tastes great.
